This gives me hope in passing my FE, I spent 4 years in school, life happened so took 4 years off, then started back for another 2 and a half years taking 1-2 classes a semester. Finally graduated, have a job as a HVAC designer. I have been worried about studying and passing my exam with a full time job, a 5 year old at home, and getting married soon. Thank you for sharing your experience. I hope to share my success once I pass as well.

Thank you for the video. I have signed up for the FE exam in 6 months. College was 15 years ago, so the test is… daunting. Thank for the videos and please keep them coming

I just took my exam for the first time on 3/26/22 after being out of school for 14 years. I don't have my results yet, but have a good feeling I'm in the clear. Best of luck to you. It CAN be done. Regular studying in small intervals is the key!

I passed the CA FE exam on my first attempt, while still only in my junior year for mechanical engineering at CSULB. The secret is acquiring Michael R Lindberg's exam prep book, like the FE Mechanical Review Manual. They are a little pricey but totally worth every dollar. Although I was missing courses in some exam subject areas, I still passed because I devoted 4 to 5 hours of study every night for about 2 1/2 months.
Skip over the advanced subjects like capstone courses or advanced topics from any course. You may not understand it after all resulting in just wasting valuable time studying and there are just not enough questions on exam to justify it.

I am nature with math/physic as well so I wanted to pick an engr that felt most challenge to me. I graduated 15 years ago. I still remember the engr material like the way I still know the adv math. I passed the FE exam on my first try. I heard many smart people fail so I study a month longer. I took the exam 6 months- as quick as possible- because it was a pass/fail. If the test was scored, then I would study a bit longer.

i have a question : which major in FE exam is related to the IT engiineering?? is it the electrical or technical or general one ? i want to take the exam but dun know how tostart and how i can get the materials to study?
am graduated from EGYPT and live in US now

@asmrwithsara The electrical and computer engineering (ECE) FE exam is the most closely related to IT engineering. It covers a wide range of topics, including digital logic, computer architecture, circuit analysis, and electrical engineering fundamentals.
The general FE exam also includes some topics that are relevant to IT engineering, such as mathematics, statistics, and economics. However, it does not cover as much depth in these areas as the ECE exam.
The technical FE exam is not specifically designed for IT engineers. It covers a broader range of engineering topics, including mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science. I hope this information is helpful. Good luck with your studies!

PPI that I took in 2020 did not help to the actual test unless it was updated

Nope it is still the same and even now is worst their platform is so confusing and the ebooks are mixed up that you don’t know where is the lecturer book and where is the work book. I wastes my money in the online classes. The instructor was so fast in reviewing the course that I could not have a change to take notes. It was so messing and confusing. The good I could got from it was the written materials, the right calculator, and the practice problems and quizzes… everything out was a waste of money and time. Over that they didn’t refund me my money back plus I didn’t get the credit to take the online classes again. I think everyone are better off to by the books for fe on eBay that way cheap than in ppi and just take the written materials from the course and study yourself… Shalom 🙏🏼
