Great review! I'm stuck between these and the Klim Kodiak set, do you have any Suggestions for me?

Between the Klim and the Rukka it would mainly depend on what conditions your planning on riding in. While both use high-quality 3-layer Gore-Tex laminate, the Exegal is more suited to cooler weather riding due to the fewer number of vents, which means it would not be a strong choice for hot summer rides.
In contrast, the Kodiak offers much more ventilation spaced throughout the jacket. For added safety, it also includes a CE Level 2 back protector and a 17092 certification.
      Thanks for the question!

good review. How does the exegal compare to the antartica gtx from dainese?

    • @Championhelmets

Both jackets are already coming in at the top of their respective touring lines so that means premium materials and construction throughout, but there are a few points that are important to pick out. The Antartica jacket includes waterproof Tizip zippers, which are among the best currently available, it includes a kidney belt for comfort, and the jacket also features semi-detachable pockets for greater comfort while riding. Lastly, the jacket includes a finished destination liner.
In contrast, the Exegal comes with a full set of D3O protectors (Lvl. 2 in shoulders and elbows, and Lvl. 1 in back and chest), it has a greater number of vents for multi-seasonality, and it uses an Outlast thermoregulatory liner.
So, the Antartica is built for riders looking to bring the premium to touring and even light adventure riding for longer distances while the Exegal is more designed for multi-season touring.
      Thanks for the question!

The Rukka Exegal comes with an Outlast long-sleeve liner to keep you fully covered.

Good review 👍, do you ship to the UK...what happens if there is a warranty issue..? I can't find the Exegal jacket on any UK site...? Cheers, Steve

Yes, we do ship to the UK. If you have a warranty issue, then you send the jacket back to us and we will send it to the manufacturer for repair. While in Europe the jacket is called the Exegal, it has been renamed as the Rukka Kallavesi jacket.
      Thanks for the question!
What are your thoughts on the Rukka jacket?

Nice explanation... I have a question.I've noticed Klim use a lot of Superfabric, but how does it compare to the Armacor Rukka usually uses?
Also do you guys ship to US?

    • @Championhelmets
      @Championhelmets  3 роки тому +1

Yes, we do ship worldwide. As far as Superfabric vs Armacor, both are designed to be abrasion, cut, and tear resistant, but achieve this in different ways. Superfabric utilizes a tough fabric backing with additional patterned plates for flexibility and even greater abrasion resistance. Armacor utilizes a mix of Kevlar and aramide yarns for a lighter set of reinforcements that are still going to offer high temperature resistance as well.

Great review, how is the jacket as far as value for quality?

Though Rukka gear does often come with a high price tag, the value for quality of their jackets is extremely good. Due to their strong outer construction, weatherproofing, and stitching they are designed as a long-term riding investment.
      Thanks for the question!
