Thanks for watching! Glad to have you follow along! Never been to Manitoba but my husband was born and raised there (Swan River area) ! I would love to visit
Love them all but especially the metal tray. Your decoupage method is great and looks like it’s painted onto the item. I love all your projects and you make it all look so easy. Thanks so much for your inspiration. I love watching your videos.
I love everything you do because that's the kind of stuff that I like I haven't tried to send them yet so I'm going to give it a try on I'm getting ready to have a craft show on fundraising money for elderly for food and meds so I did real good the last time and I'm hoping to do good this time
I melt candles by placing them in a tin can placed in a pot of warm water, nothing to clean , just toss the can. My favorite is the tissue holder since it was the most hopeless looking one in the before, but they were all awesome !
Love the cutting board - love the graphics. The tray has a super great finish. I love using the cinnamon technique. The toothpick holder is really cute. The tissue holder is an awesome upcycle.
Could I also ask - when using transfers and modge podge - would that work successfully on a mirror surface? I’m assuming I would have to ‘prime’ the surface with chalk paint again? Also, re the transfers in your Etsy shop…once I’ve downloaded the file, can I then edit the text (e.g. to resize it, perhaps even shape it into a curve etc)? Many thanks
Yes, that is what she usually uses. It comes out much clearer with the laser printer. You can use an inkjet printer, too, and it will look more faded and rustic.
I am not a fan of all the kitsch, either, but I am even less of a fan of rudeness. There is nothing wrong with having a different opinion, but you don't have to be rude, you can say you're not fond of a particular project, and why you're not, or simply turn the video off. I really am not a fan of all of the word signs, trucks, and kitsch decor, but I ALWAYS learn from this channel. She also does a variety of different projects. She is a seller, and this is obviously what many people want, so, if she wants to sell it, to her base, then, there is nothing wrong with that. I watch many crafting channels, and I have noticed that the most popular channels, use Dollar Tree items to make kitsch decor. So, apparently, it is very popular amongst the crafting community. It is not my cup of tea, I prefer artistic thrift flips, so I usually don't watch those channels, I don't go there and spout of rude comments...I simply don't watch them. However, this channel is different, because I learn so much on this channel, on how to do different techniques and how to save money, by making your own products. I don't always like things she makes, but the chances are, I probably learned a new technique. Don't get me wrong, there are some crafters out there who make some beautiful things out of DT items, that I do watch, whose projects turn out unique and beautiful. However, I am generally not a fan of the channels who only do the kitsch type stuff, because much of their stuff just ends up looking like DT decor with a coat of paint on it. I didn't learn anything new, because they did the same thing that 25 other crafters did, the week before. When I first started watching crafting videos, I loved those type of videos, but I never felt inspired by them, I swore if I saw another "Home" sign, I would puke, however, I never was rude to the channel host. I just don't understand why people have to be so rude, we have enough to deal with and be angry about, so why people just have to be mean about everything, is beyond me...
I am not going to engage in a pointless debates what is rude and what is just a strong opinion. I guess it would be taken as a rudeness to point out that selling is not always indication of a good taste. But by all means when it makes money why not to shower the world with it. After all the planet is littered with all kinds of ……
Actually you know what? I apologise. You are right. Just because I cringe when I see similar items, it doesn’t mean that some other people may not like it. Thank you for lesson learned.

Right!! Hope you find one
Thanks for another) great video!Can you use PVA/school glue when applying graphics (I have loads of it!!}
No it wont transfer graphics like Mod Podge. I have tried without success
Could I also ask - when using transfers and modge podge - would that work successfully on a mirror surface? I’m assuming I would have to ‘prime’ the surface with chalk paint again? The metal tray
Thanks for watching ! Glad you enjoyed Elsie
Diedre, I am sure you have gotten this question a million times, but will. Laser printer work in the reverse mid podge ? Thanks!
Yes, that is what she usually uses. It comes out much clearer with the laser printer. You can use an inkjet printer, too, and it will look more faded and rustic.
Yes it will! Thanks for watching!
Neither brass nor gold rusts 🙃
You are making terrible kitch out of a beautiful item ( talking about the tray) Why do people have to stick graphics onto everything is beyond me.
I like your comment as much as you like graphics on everything.
