Good stuff mate, nice to have this sort of info out here. As a light healer, a lot of this applies to me directly - I have a build very similar to yours, with the main difference being that I use splash of light instead of orb. Looking forward to more healer-specific content in the future.
Love all your NW stuff man, really appreciate it. Do you have any recommendations for a casual player that has 1 tank build i am running, and this healer build when i want to heal. But i was considering trying to setup a DPS build also, maybe a combination of a melee and ranged setup weapon combo. Do you have one or two DPS builds that you could recommend, that is not "to hard" to master? I am not doing pvp really, mainly pve (expeditions, chest runs and generic open world questing). Not hardcore by any means.
Lights embrace not even worth it anymore with the cast time. I use sacred, divine, and clap now. If I’m going to have a cast time might as well use Devine, it heals for 120 weapon damage vs 80 from lights embraced. That just my personal opinion tho. Note this really depends on the people in your group, pve especially. My group is we don’t run with a lot of tanks, and use a lot of mage and range dps but when we do use tank and great axe dps I do switch to beacon over clap. Same pvp.
is rapier still worth after the nerf? I hear people say to run vg now for extra healing bc rapier is worthless? idk haven't played heals since the game came out.
@@atvkid0805 true it sucks but it's just going to shift the baseline since it's not like you can do any pve or big pvp content without heals anyway. I guess maybe heals won't be as important in 3v3s I guess?
@@moe18777 they basically gonna nerf all of healing and force us healers to always be in light armor to try make up for the nerfs, and on top of that make it so you need 300 focus base in light to heal like you can now at 200 focus in medium. Also nerfing lights embrace for like the 4th time and now has a cast time same as divine embrace
I do pala build heavy armor and feel almost invincible! In pvp even in pve dungens lifestuff and warhammer ! ...1 perc ( mendic protection + Divinne belssing = 50 % healbonus who have less then 50% ...but not just on the target ..on all healing so simple whit heavy armor i van heal splash light up 3k

It's May 29th 2022, and this equipment load is NO LONGER VALID. There is NO MORE healing bonus in medium, and a MINUS 30% healing in Heavy.

you might want to hold on then they nerfed some skills in lifestaff in ptr forgot which ones exactly

Will come back to the game once they change healing, the fact they have still not buffed divine embrace and splash of light is dumb

One question Sir : if I have Blessed 20% bonus heal on both Life Staff and Gaunlet, That bonus will be 40 % ?????
Blessed only applies to the weapon you have out. So 20% on both
