- Serbia: Village life is hard work in the Serbian countryside for those who stayed behind and resisted industrialisation.
This is the village of my grandparents in Serbia called Miranovacka Kula. I've been visiting this place every year since I was born and it will always be special to me.
I really tried to capture the mood of village life in the Balkans as a whole and the effects that post World War 2 industrialisation had on the populations of villages.

Living in countryside is a different world altogether

My grandma is the last to live in her village in North Kosovo. When she passes - and sadly it will be soon - the village will be left abandoned. Long live the spirit of the Serbian villagers, and may their homes and villages find life again one day.

I had the same reaction. Deeply moved. Mr. Randelovic, I hope you will continue to develop this theme - in particular, “selo”.. and the stories of these dying villages. The less human we become in our city living, the more the “selo” cries for our return.

Ја сам се преселио и живим у једном селу код Ваљева које је мало живље али колико видим питање колико ће :(
Овако и још горе је у србским селима у Крајини, на крајњем западу србства...
Неколико хиљада села по свим србским земљама је на издисају. Шта нам уради титоизам и све 3 триклете Југославије.
