Updates:
-The Anti-tank damage does decrease over distance. For example, the max damage on heavy tanks is 30. At about 70m, it will decrease gradually and at about 180m the max damage for a direct hit will be about 25.
-The PGs do not take damage from fire grenades. Flamethrowers yes, fire grenades no.
The hilarity of having a ton of incendiary grenades tossed at you and NONE of them doing any damage is great
This channel is brilliant, seeing new bf1 vids from this channel makes me feel like I'm playing in 2016-17 again
This vehicle is bane of my existence as an infantry player, if a person who mastered it gets serious.
You can tell if they're good if they can whip it around driving backwards. Once you see that happening, you know you're screwed.
Please make more of these videos! Love the research into the little details that makes even the veteran players discover secret mechanics.

After your A7V video, I mastered that tank and my favourite tank is now Flamethrower A7V. Thank you for showing the potential of the vehicles by comparing them.

As a calvary player these can be troublesome to deal with.
Great stuff dude, the only thing I would add are the flares for the recon version only work for you. They do not help your team. Only you can see them on the minimap. It's the same with Attack/Fighter plane flares. Not sure if it's a PC exclusive thing. But it seems to be a little known fact.
The flares dont have radius animation on minimap for other players but they spot all enemies and explosives in that same range

These videos have great info, but there's a lot you could do to trim them down and make the information more digestible and remove downtime. Mainly using side-by-side, simultaneous clips of damage comparisons, instead of each one played one after another.
Also, be careful when testing damage at range, since many things in-game have damage drop-off that you might not be told about. For example, if you use the spotting scope as a rangefinder, it might tell you something is 80m away, when its actually 80.99m away. This is important because if anything has a damage drop-off at 81m and beyond, slight deviation in shot placement can place the hit at 81m, giving an inconsistent damage profile. And bear in mind that certain equipment like the AT Rocket Gun only deal full damage to armour at a 90 degree angle impact point, this may apply to tanks too, but I'm not sure, which is why I'm saying be mindful of it.
You've hit a good niche with in-depth research about this game, but with only a few small considerations, you could drastically condense the info and take your content to the next level.
I don't use the PG all that much since its controls are horrible (on console at least), but getting those rare games where I do some serious work with one is really satisfying. Brusilov Offensive with Galicia is an easy example, rolling with a squad of PGs and fucking people up is awesome.

anyone know the button to switch from driver to gunner? i play controller on pc and the only way to swap was to cycle thru the seats which isnt as smooth. id love to use the at version more but driving backwards with joysticks is literal hell it doesnt do what you want it to do. the snap view tip shared in the video would do wonders for me if i could only figure out how to switch seats more smoothly
On a keyboard it's the same button that switches the guns on every tanks, but you have to push it longer

So my only quastion is what's the point of making this vehicle for 3 peapole instead of 4? Why this turret mechanic is there in first place? There are vehicles in bf1 that are only for "drivers".
Whats more using driver's sit make you unable to use gun and you are more visible. I just dont see a point in it thats all, or maybe am i missing something here?

you're gonna need the TSAR dlc
The "In the Name of the Tsar" dlc is required, and if you have that I believe all you need to do is buy the other variations with war bonds
