you are a life saver, i got the 1-3 book set and my copy of dune was water damaged. Now i have a way to replace it
dude you should try reading the stormlight archive! its a bit hard if your not a fantasy fan, but if you like a book with excellent slap then I recommend reading SA, but if your not sure you should read the previous work of the author like mistborn! (book 2 is my fav)

Why are there some copies on Shopee that says paperback but is printed on a white paper? Not the typical brown colored paper. Its quite frustrating bec it happend to me twice already. Do have tips what to type in the search bar to avoid this? Thanks
how long do mass market paperbacks last? I mean how many years?
Hello Marnie! As much as I would love to answer your question, I'm not really sure since I just only started getting into books again after how many years .This is also my first mass market paperback :( I apologize. But if it helps, the Dune mass markets are definitely of good quality and I think they will last long.
If you don't deliberately treat it like crap it'll outlast you

They sell trade paperback on fullybooked? I only saw a paper back the same price with your trade paperback..
Yes they do! :) Both editions. Though I'm not sure if they are still in stock because the books have been in demand lately due to the upcoming movie. You can try checking their website in case you haven't.

There are these books sold online by Chinese sellers, and they are waayyy cheaper, are these mass paperbacks or just pirated countefeit?
I bought these from a reputable bookstore here in the Philippines so I'm pretty sure they're authentic paperbacks. :)

Just gave my books a whiff and hmmm, the trade paperbacks don't really have any noticeable smell but the mass market paperbacks have that "old book smell"?
Are these versions abridged or unabridged?
I’m not quite sure. 😔 Sorry. But if it helps, my trade paperback copy of Dune is 617 pages long (not including the Appendixes) and for my mass market paperback copy of Messiah, 336 pages.

do you have to crack the spine on the mass markets to read comfortably?
I cracked the spine on mine and I really regret doing it because it left visible lines. Looking back, I don’t think it’s necessary to crack the spine but there’s definitely a bit of resistance but not to the point that you have trouble seeing the words.

Neither...are fit to be on your shelves... only the older prints have actually good cover art... I prefer the 80's publications they have way better cover designs showing the ancient cities of Arrakis and the ruins.
