Such an amazing piece of conversation I've listened to. I really love psychology in general, human behaviors have always intrigued me and i would love to see more conversations like this. I'm glad to have Ranveer as my big bro, always look up to you and consider you as my mentor.
I love Dr. Baland jalal's spirit towards things for which we don't have scientific proof. " science hasn't reached there" is his temperament for all things which science couldn't explain. Amazing person 😌
Thankyou soo much, This whole session was very enlightening and encouraging! I was always leaned towards meditation and spirituality but wasn't able to continue it but after this I'm inspired to regularly start meditation. Thankyou 💖
Wow!!! I never thought that I would have such an amazing experience watching this podcast and even get a deep dive to enter this subject with such a short time ... Extremely thank you Ranveer and doctor Jalal 😍😊😇
This conversation is a gem. I especially love how Ranveer somehow connect spirituality to the topic and get a better understanding from a scientific perspective.
Please bring him back. You have grown so much. So much. Loved lived learned every second of it. Try and bring Sam Harris. Looking forward to another smashing episode. Stay blessed.
If u get him back on the show, I have one question for him. As there was a lot of discussion about dreams, my question is : When we are asleep, we sometimes feel like we have slipped and that awakens us. What actually happens to us at that point and do we have any scientific reasoning to it?? This podcast was lovely and it answered so many questions that I had about dreams in general. Thanks to Dr Jalaal and you Ranveer... I really wish this channel to be at the top, not only in India but all over the world ❤️
Sometimes if u sleep in a bad position, where blood may not flow properly then the mind will try to wake u up. Thatz where u get a dream like u slipped. I had this experience also. Sometimes u'll adjust urself while sleepin but if u dont then the brain will.
I could relate to most of it as today I experienced basic paralysis ,I was very conscious but couldn't move , could hear the people talking around me but wasn't able to speak ,I freaked out ,it was a afternoon nap just for 20-25min but I felt like an hour or so ,this was my second experience ,the first was terrible ,woke up scared and disturbed of what happened, And I could see a series of dreams , completely irrelevant today. I just got a cut in my knuckle , thought I was gonna have it after I woke up ,but didn't. These experiences are very scary ,I couldn't explain these as none believed it.and I found this podcast here today. Thanks Ranveer Sir for having such amazing people on your show.👍
I have had such bad cases of sleep paralysis that at some point I stopped getting afraid of these experiences. In fact, I was so aware of the VR in my dream state that I knew it was only a dream. Once the phase of spiritual paralysis was over I have had many spiritual experiences in my sleep. Thank you so much Rajveer and Dr. Jalal for this amazing podcast🙏🏻
This was highly informative podcast. Kindly invite him again or do more podcast on all these topics and do discuss how we can reprogram our brains to avoid unhealthy coping mechanisms or unhealthy behavior patterns? Looking forward to more insightful podcasts like these😊
Happiness is 'when you have listened it before on spotify '❤ but would like to say that.. This really heavy podcast about 'sleep paralysis ' n etc etc so you gotta listen it 2-3 times for better understanding N thanks @beerbiceps for podcasts ❤❤keep growing
Love to listen these type of podcasts, I really like your interest in spirituality and trying to bring back connection with other topics. I would ask one more question specifically for this podcast is: I have seen some videos where scientists prove that your decision of anything came before you think to decide something and act. For example I will choose apple or banana, before I choose a machine can tell in sometime what I will choose. How that works? If you want I will provide link of that video as well. Let me know if you have this question’s answer in any other video as well so I can see that. Thanks
Wow. This was way too interesting for me. I really love learning about our body. Before this I had experience with lucid dreams but had no clue what it was. Omg. What a great episode!!!
Thank you Dr.Jalal for an explanation on sleep paralysis - I suffered for many years exactly the way you experienced. Also, loved your scientific explanations on other topics not denying the spiritual aspect of it.
If you are doing mediation, seek guidance from Guru. But generally, meditation is not just about positive emotions. You will feel various emotions and that is normal when you meditate but you need proper guidance. One thing vipasanna teaches is how you just observe without indulgence to any emotions. For example if you feel positive sensation, u just observe but not seek it. And same to negative emotions. Having said that, learn from Guru mostly advanced one. There are lots of proper guided meditation from sources like sadhguru, ravi shankar etc. Dont just make mistake of doing it by yourself..

Well I am one of those who can't remember their own dream 😑. Neither had any of these lucid experiences but I want to have it, they look very interesting 💯. I do sometimes have experience (very rarely,or might not able to remember) like I am sleeping , and thinking (not dreaming , because I can hear myself talking like in animes, detective story monologues) and I know I am sleeping + thinking and I can hear people talking around me , hear fan or cooler clearly ... Try telling yourself that I want to remember my dreams everyday before sleeping... Also as soon as you wake up don't let your mind be distracted by anything else and just focus on the dream you had and try to recollect as much as possible because most people only remember their dreams for few seconds after they wake up.
It was one of the greatest video on You Tube I have ever seen.... I felt so good after knowing that the dream dilemmas happening with me , also happen with others and then it was great knowing the reasons behind them.... Some special things make our day... but this one , I think made my life....❤❤ Thank you so much Ranveer sir...😍
Really enjoyed the conversation, it was quite fascinating. Never thought dream as a subject would be this interesting. We would love to watch more on neuroscience ♥ Thanks for making this video 😍
What science is discovering after years and years of research is already in the spiritual books... Not a debate but what I have learned in recent years.
I must say, dr Jalal has this Willie Wonka vibe in him. Just a random thought that I had! Amazing person, amazing views. Never had I been so excited watching two people talking to each other. Enjoyed so much that I didn't realise it's been 2 hrs! Just realised time is subjective 🤯 Definitely want to see more episodes like this. The Ranveer Show has my heart ❤️
1:39:47 the best way to overcome fear is to create more and more positive experiences, it's easier said than done, but we need to take some courage and try to do things we fear about...may be taken support from your friends and family, the reason for fearing something intensely bcz somewhere in the past or even in past lives, such things have caused us harm so we need to overcome it with experience the same situation with positive outcome instead of negative outcome (which might have happened in the past)
Ranveer I can't appreciate you enough. You are my role model ,my inspiration and I hope I meet you in person some day. Thank You for creating such content . Truly amazing❤️
Best podcast, I was very much curious about dreams after hearing importance of dreams in a spiritual process but was not able to understand, now I getting there, thanks 🙏 Would love to see more of podcast with Dr. Baland.
I'm listening to this episode till now.. like literally abt 1 am now... This is so interesting, insightful, inspiring and "stimulating" (as u said so in the beginning Ranveer bhai) .. stimulating to pursue these sort of neuro science studies... Really grateful Ranveer broda for bringing such valuable content for the world for people out there who can't be exposed to this kinda knowledge in general
Sleep paralysis is genuinely horrible, at first when I had this experience i thought I was possessed by some ghost .Even today it scares the shit out of me .😱😱😱😧😧
It happened so many times with me that now when it happens next time...i am like here we go again i have to just stay calm and enjoy this strange thing😂
You are bringing the light to all the youngsters, brother..!! And Thank you Dr. Jalal for sharing your knowledge.. I learnt a lot from this podcast ❤️❤️
Thank you for putting out these sorts of topics. I wasn't quite sure as to what neuroscience was, but got a glimpse of the immensity of the knowledge that the subject has to offer.
Great episode! If you do happen to bring Dr. Jalal back on the show can you discuss about how memory works? Is it possible to replace an old memory with an imaginative story? (Like in Sherlock Holmes series, Sherlock is made to forget about his childhood friend by replacing him with a dog in his memories) this was possible for him through hypnosis sessions but can we do it to ourselves? Also, our brain tends to block some bad memories to protect us but, doing this often, is it healthy?
Congratulations Ranveer and your team, on presenting this very relevant but fairly unknown subject. Let's have more on neuroscience and chip implants. Keep it up.
Please do share. I have had lots too. One was being tugged by a presence asking for help. The next morning my father told me that a close family friend passed away in accident last night. It was uncanny n sad.
@@neharai4927 ohh, there's a podcast on joe Rogan In which the guest(who's a scientist himself) talked about the similar thing he even said that he entered other dimension and saw destruction about to happen and after a week same thing happened in his life 🤯
Sleep paralysis is something that has fucked up my life. My lady love (P) used to get these sleep paralysis (more frequent ones recently). Someone said to her and her parents that someone did black magic on her and hence she is seeing all that dark dreams and sleep paralysis. Later I was blamed for the black magic thing. Irony, I haven't done anything of that sort and indeed I was with her in every ups and downs and on every single day but idk why I was accused of something that I haven't done.
The evil presence he is mentioning is so true. Whenever I've explained my episode of sleep paralysis, I would always end up stating an evil presence during the episode. As a kid I've had several nightmares, but then life happened for me and I started getting scared from life instead of ghosts. So I grew strong and when nightmares happened, I would start picking up fights with the ghosts. I never felt scared after that. But the sleep paralysis episode was different, I couldn't wrestle or fight it and it was pure evil, to the point of severely being intimidating. When I realised my own strength is futile and after a feeling a super natural presence, as a reflex I remember I started chanting Hanuman Chalisa, and my episode ended almost immediately and I basically got up. However I was so exhausted and I felt as if my whole energy had been sucked out of me. But the evil presence was no joke, it really makes you question alot of things
Yes. It was very informative session and definitely Dr. Jalal was very transparent about his opinion and I like his statement that do not mix up 2 things like science and spirituality.
It would have been great to hear you guys talk about dejavu , where we dream about something and it comes true and sense of dejavu. Also , how to overcome sense of negative energies around one self while meditation. Over all your videos are really great👍
I'm really grateful you've mentioned this. Personally, it's been a topic of discussion within my family. The next time you start the experience of déjàvu try asking yourself "what happens next" then try to remember your dream. 😉

🤩Amazing... I would like to hear many more podcasts with Dr. Baland Jalal!!
Just realised time is subjective 🤯
Definitely want to see more episodes like this.
The Ranveer Show has my heart ❤️
Enjoying your recent contents
What a beautiful vice he has ,intelligent man .

Would love to see more of podcast with Dr.
Fantastic podcast. Thank you Ranveer!
Sleep paralysis is genuinely horrible, at first when I had this experience i thought I was possessed by some ghost .Even today it scares the shit out of me .😱😱😱😧😧
Same yr...this is horrible...it haunts at the moment
That's true! It is horrifying... Initially, i couldn't understand what it was. Took me a while to understand it.
It happened so many times with me that now when it happens next time...i am like here we go again i have to just stay calm and enjoy this strange thing😂
@@mybangaloredays same bro till now...
You are bringing the light to all the youngsters, brother..!! And Thank you Dr. Jalal for sharing your knowledge.. I learnt a lot from this podcast ❤️❤️
The more you look at Ranveer boping his head , the more it will increase 😀😂
Exactly 💯😂
Now I can't unsee it😆😆
Thank you for putting out these sorts of topics. I wasn't quite sure as to what neuroscience was, but got a glimpse of the immensity of the knowledge that the subject has to offer.
Love you bhai. You're my inspiration! ✌🏻
Love you too ❤️❤️
His eyebrows though... Awww ❤
Keep it up.
The person talking , hosting and listening have had sleep paralysis 🤯
Please do share. I have had lots too. One was being tugged by a presence asking for help. The next morning my father told me that a close family friend passed away in accident last night. It was uncanny n sad.
@@neharai4927 ohh, there's a podcast on joe Rogan In which the guest(who's a scientist himself) talked about the similar thing he even said that he entered other dimension and saw destruction about to happen and after a week same thing happened in his life 🤯
@@neharai4927 that would have been scary 😱
bring more neuroscientist...totally enjoyed
Sleep paralysis is something that has fucked up my life. My lady love (P) used to get these sleep paralysis (more frequent ones recently). Someone said to her and her parents that someone did black magic on her and hence she is seeing all that dark dreams and sleep paralysis. Later I was blamed for the black magic thing. Irony, I haven't done anything of that sort and indeed I was with her in every ups and downs and on every single day but idk why I was accused of something that I haven't done.
Sleep early and wake early...... Clean your bed and pillow..... Meditate and pray before sleeping.... Do good and believe God will protect you
Are you in touch with her still
@@vees4727 No, got abandoned
What a wonderfully guest. Please invite him back!
