    Thanks for the review. How would you compare this one to Bluetti AC180 1800W?

      Agreed. VTOMAN was the king but Allpowers and a few others are stepping up and offering great budget options

      @@EricReviews How do you plan on wiring those panels? R1500 has a max 60v 13a input which means 2 of the 400w panels in series is well over the 60v maximum and over voltage is the best way to kill electronics. 2 in parallel is over the 13a maximum and while that won't cause any issues, it'll limit panel output to 486w max (37.4v x 6.5a x2) I went with 6 of the SF100 flexible panels in 2S3P to max out the R1500 input specs and have successfully got up to 520w from them just laying flat on the grass.

      @@darga7281 I'm now doing 1200w of panels and have 6 SF200 panels. I have the Allpowers R3500 as well so I'll be connecting solar to that as a stationary setup. When its time to charge this one, I'll just charge off the R3500 or use the folding 400W panel that I also have from allpowers

    I love mine, everything about it is perfect. The best thing apart from the extra battery option is that you can actually turn the station off an not have it always on like most units. I love that about this unit.

    Priced a lot cheaper than I thought it would be! Glad to see prices coming down and specifications going up! 1000w solar input is awesome and more than good enough for a power station of this size.
    Added to my short list to buy. Already own a ton of these but like you.. we can never have enough!
    Great review Eric!

    i just received it a few minutes ago and could not get bluetooth or wifi connected.
    manual is lacking. would you please do a short video on that?
    that would be helpful for us new owners.

    • @EricReviews
      @EricReviews  5 місяців тому

      Hi, this information can be found on the "FAQ" section of the manual. Here is the info copy and pasted.
      Q10. How to turn on/off the Bluetooth & WIFI of the power station?
      The bluetooth & WIFI is turned off by factory default. Turn it on/off: After turning on the device, press and hold the "DC OUTPUT" button for 3 seconds until the bluetooth & WIFI icon on the display changes. The icon is always on for the on state, the icon disappears to the off state.

    I can't decide between this one and Bluetti 180. The price is very good, but I'm afraid that if I use it every day, it won't last long.

    • @NEKRWSPHERE
      @NEKRWSPHERE 21 день тому

      Dude... This is literally the very last thing you need to worry about. This is a LiFePo4 battery based power station. LiFePo4 are the longest lasting batteries we have RN. They can be fully charged up to 3500 times, and still have about 80% of their capacity intact after that. LiFePo4 chemistry is stable enough to last over a decade whether or not you are using the station often. So do the math: if you use it every day - it will last you 8-10 years, and if you're maintaining it properly, - it may even last beyond that. This is why these things are such a serious investment. Bluetti has a very good customer service. Also check out VDL - VDL probably hast the best overall aesthetics on the market and the cheapest price, and so far its Amazon reviews are the only 5-star ones among all manufacturers. EcoFlow generally has a very good QC , but their customer service is reported to be somewhat lacking. Just make sure what you're buying is a LiFePo4 product marketed for speed of charge and longevity.

    Better to charge at slow speeds..faster ones will wear out the battery quicker

    • @EricReviews
      @EricReviews  5 місяців тому +1

      Yep. Charge slower unless you really need that faster charging speed at the time for whatever reason

    You along with so many keep mentioning the expansion battery for this unit. I challenge you to find that expansion battery. The ports are there for a non-existent battery expansion.
