Leaving the comforts of your home and potentially your job is a huge risk for anyone but imagine spending 2 years of your free time and tens of thousands of dollars before you can even really test out this idea? Well this is the position Mike and Mandi were in but they made space for each other's fears, worked through them together, and built an incredibly functional, and gorgeous home in a rare 1991 Gillig Phantom School Bus. This bus is a 40 foot pusher with a DD6V92 engine and it now takes them wherever they want to go while working remotely from their new home on wheels. Congrats Mike and Mandi, it wasn't easy, but you did it! We look forward to seeing how your adventures unfold.

This is one of the best builds I’ve seen on UA-cam. As a NYer who is tired of sky high rents and no stranger to small living spaces this seems so appealing. Seem to be very good for 1-2 people with a small kid at most - seeing those bookshelves as beds for big kids always take away from the beauty of tiny homes.
Loved what they said about how everyone has excuses, and how we just have to overcome those excuses and face those fears. Awesome video as always! Loved seeing another Gillig 😊

Yes! I thought their story was so sweet, and I appreciate Mike and Mandi being vulnerable and telling us about it. Everybody struggles to achieve their shared goals together. It almost never comes easily!
