This was a well produced video. I appreciate that you went through the preflight check without skipping a step. It also illustrates how well Pilates laid-out the avionics. The electronic check followed the layout of the instruments, sequentially making the process intuitive and difficult to overlook anything. I’m guessing the R seater in this video pulls the strings in some way either in the flight dept or even writes the checks. Wouldn’t want a long trip with that guy...
Love you videos and the Pilatus. Your little girl is not going to be a great pilot when she grows up - she already is. I love to watch her fly. She really loves it. Thanks.
I think I saw you at the restaurant in San Carlos on Monday. Was going to say hello but it looked like you were enjoying your breakfast with friends so I did not want to interrupt. Love watching you fly that beautiful PC-24...which I did not see on the ramp at SQL. Cheers-Ren
Nice flight! A bit surprised you used 3500 ft to to turn off, but I guess you had the runway so why not use it. Great cockpit management and radio work! Nice to see for a change!
This video is so much better than your first one ( this one, no music, multiple camera view points, ATC communications, in cockpit audio for preflight checklist, prelanding checklist). You really made me feel as if I were there with you, and isn't that the point? The blue and white balls under the center column reminded me of when I used them for seating position (is that why they are there?) when I qualified for my Citation type rating and ATP license. The ads are a bit frustrating, but I understand that is the cost of doing business, and, I hope that it means that business for you is going well. My only other suggestion from my previous ones many months ago would be to use captions that would explain some issues, such as the sounds that I would guess are due to the hydraulic pumps. Other viewers might have other suggestions.
Looks like quite the project to get the control lock out? Lol. I’m sure your just being careful, but it made me laugh. Loving the pc24. Thanks for sharing with some other camera angles and some atc!
Nice flight. Smooth as butter. Maybe you can get that right seat guy to do some naration since you're single handing the plane. What would a flight to Florida cost?
Great video. Lots of concentration keeping ahead of this beauty. How many hours you have on the PC24. Regards to your cute daughter Amelia love to see her tumble again.
Hi tommy. Nice flying. Looks like that plane likes to float a bit just before wheels touch. Who's the dude in the right seat? Doesn't seem to be doing or saying much. Maybe the boss. That 'bush jet ' video was an eye opener. Looked like rough neighborhood for a biz jet. Does that have some sort of special trailing link system on the main gear to absorb abuse? Nose gear looked normal from here. Good demo anyway. Might replace super Cubs for going into hunting camps. Haha. Bob
PlaneJunkies Yep I know. I found the Video Great were you explain the checklist. So here would be great to have a bit context. Did. you see the Falcon rocket or some content about the Airport and Interferenz with LAX etc. just some idea 😉
Hello Tommy, Nice job like always! Thank you for all youmdo. I love the Pc 24. I have a question...will your company be sending this Pc 24 out here to the east and if so is it possible to catch a flight out of Augusta to Baton Rough (1 way share or if your empty) in the next month of two....and if so rough idea on a price? Thanks man. :-)) Love the channel. P
Noticed you didn’t use aircraft N number when communicating with ground tower and ATC did you file using gold check or gold something I couldn’t get the full name you were using. Looks like it lands like a Cessna lol
love these videos. but having done those approaches into HHR many times. you had some weird edits where you would cut from way further back on the approach to then very close to HHR and then back. had me confused there.
I have a question for you. If your the corporate pilot how come that other guy flew it back to your home base? He didn't act like he knew what was going on? 🤔 Also was the guy in the right seat your real copilot or just a ride along? He didn't help out with anything. 👍
He appears to have a problem of lack of respect for the pilot. But thats his problem. Did you notice, the pilot didn't give a shit about that guys arrogance
If it's going to take 45 minutes to an hour every time to perform your pre-flight checklist, how is that a more desirable aircraft than say, a Phenom 300 or a Cessna Citation, which both take considerably less time to complete? .
@@PlaneJunkies Or in other words, for slow viewers? (LOL). Good luck in Reno this year, BTW. Hope to drive up from Sac and catch a few races. It'll be a first.
What is the pump sounding noise that happens at 17:23 and again at 18:45? Can you hear it with your headset on? Can the passengers hear it and is it annoying to them? Enjoy your videos! Please consider videos of the technical aspects of the walk-around, flight planning pre-flight, and post operations for the PC-24.
Awesome plane, I fly a 2018 PC-12 hope to be flying the 24 within the next few years. Crazy question but what Go Pro mount are you using near the hand hold?
Hi PlaneJunkies, what function they perform three small balls (two blue, one white) on the top cockpit :), nice plane pc-24 and perfect your control of flight
As the pilot sits in the seat he or she would want to line up the white and blue ball behind each other with their eyes. that puts them in the proper seating position to fly so every time you fly and you adjust your seat it should be the same , its just a reference point
Hey bud, I enjoy watching you fly but you always look mad. Seems like you dont like when certain people fly with you in the cockpit lol. You seem much happier when you're up there alone. You make some awesome landings. 👍👍
PlaneJunkies looks like it’s a very intuitive system. More so than the last jet I flew. Reminds me of the 3 screen G1000s you’d see every once in a while. I have been wondering; is the Honeywell able to share information with ForeFlight either natively or thru an expansion (like the FlightStream systems)?
They really keep you at a low altitude for a long time around your destination airport. That has to hurt your fuel burn. I can imagine that larger aircraft really hate it.
This was very, very well done. i really like the way you go through your procedures and show them. Keep up the good work.
Thank you very much!
I saw the factory delivery video randomly on UA-cam and then I saw this plane at KHHR the other day. Small world. Thanks for the video!

Professional. Well organized. Don’t know who right seater is but if non-pilot, wouldn’t sit up front w/ me.
Love that you post these videos. Love this plane and so cool to get to see it in action.
Wait till I upload the short field landing and takeoff lol
@@PlaneJunkies Or rough field ;-)
Definitely a beautiful plane! Must be a joy to fly as well. Nice job adding in some new camera angles!
I guess I'm kinda off topic but do anyone know a good place to stream new series online ?
Grear video. Nice of you to use multiple cameras. I am surprised that your boss didn't mind the cameras. Greetings from Greece
Thanks for watching!
Cool callsign love these videos more please
Thanks again Tommy...for sharing the flight with us ..
Excellent single-pilot operation! Thanks for the video.
Thanks
Great vid Tommy awesome plane thanks for QPM mode demo, I can definitely hear the difference between normal and quiet. Thanks!
Your best video to date Tommy. Love it. Keep them coming! :-)
Hello Tommy. Thank you for the video.

¡Me disfrute ese vuelo como no tienes idea!

Enjoyed the video! Always nice to see Pilatus PC24 flies!
You make it look as easy as driving a car!
Wonderful plane thanks for the video!
Liked and Subscribed...thanks Tommy...
thank you for your support !
KHHR is where I did my primary training back in ... 1981.
Good job with the video. Single pilot ops, love it :)
Enjoyed the camera angles, will take some lessons for my channel.

I did closed captioning on the video and it thought the callsign was "Good sex" Lmfao I'm dying

Great Video, would be awsome if you could comment a bit and bring kind of Story to the Video.
that will be coming just kinda hard to explain everything while I have a body up front lol

I'm new to the channel and what great video of this fine aircraft. It would be nice if you can narrate a little of the trip etc.. great video
..the Historic Hawthorne Airport..the Jack Northrop Field..and now home to Tesla Design and their.. Boring Company...

Goldstrike (GDS24), company callsign for VGT based Steelman Aviation
Great flight...what's up with the right seater...no speak...???
love these videos. but having done those approaches into HHR many times. you had some weird edits where you would cut from way further back on the approach to then very close to HHR and then back. had me confused there.
ya I edit time got jacked on one of the cameras lol
Who's the guy sitting in copilot seat ? he did not stop using his cellular during flight. Is it safe ?
I have a question for you. If your the corporate pilot how come that other guy flew it back to your home base?
He didn't act like he knew what was going on? 🤔
Also was the guy in the right seat your real copilot or just a ride along? He didn't help out with anything. 👍
What does the FBO and ur company do? It seem like he did hardly anything besides look at his phone. And adjust a couple of knobs
He appears to have a problem of lack of respect for the pilot. But thats his problem. Did you notice, the pilot didn't give a shit about that guys arrogance
It seemed to be a "sterile" cockpit the entire trip :-)
..he ..is the owner..which also automatically makes him much more important...without having to say very much at all..
I LOVE Your Videos & Thank You So Much For Taking Us Along. Are You Native American?

it does not take that long . in real time . I do it slow for the viewers
@@PlaneJunkies Or in other words, for slow viewers? (LOL). Good luck in Reno this year, BTW. Hope to drive up from Sac and catch a few races. It'll be a first.
Beautiful plane and flying but it lacked conversations, do you guys talk to each other, remarks about the speed how much fuel did it burn etc.
we wanted to do it single pilot and no coms
@@PlaneJunkies Next time, consider putting that guy in the rear seats
Why were the flaps out on the ramp? And does the PC-24 come with the ERP balls or did you add them?
You need to tell us something about yourself, flying background, your flying operation, etc. on your home page.
I do have a video up on the home page
He starts the left engine at 13:00.
Tommy, Was the right seat guy a check airman just quietly observing or something?
No he is my boss lol
That's explains a lot , I was like I would not mind a job like that . Lok
@@PlaneJunkies I kinda suspected that. You didn't seem to mind him pushing buttons on his side; that and very little chit chat. Great vid as always.

hydraulic pump
Can the passengers hear it?
Robert H apparently you have never flown in an A320. Those pumps are annoying.
Great aircraft Nice Job! It's a little odd that Your Passenger Is extremely quiet, no?
I told him to be haa haa lol
@@PlaneJunkies LOL I thought maybe he lost "a lot" Seeing you just left Vegas............
Oh boy, still this hard noisy clunk when you push ptt - like it does on most the PC-12/47E. Sad.
Flared quite a bit in Sir 😉
Says the guy with no videos on his channel, another armchair pilot, you go on with your bad self. 😉 tsk tsk tsk.
Thar sucker looks like it's hauling ass even though it is standing still. And it leaps off the ground at rotation.
Awesome plane, I fly a 2018 PC-12 hope to be flying the 24 within the next few years. Crazy question but what Go Pro mount are you using near the hand hold?
suction cup
Thanks.
Hawthorne's a good choice when going to LA... esp. once SMO shuts down. :(
What's your callsign for this flight? Sounds like "Flight Check 24."
Hi PlaneJunkies, what function they perform three small balls (two blue, one white) on the top cockpit :), nice plane pc-24 and perfect your control of flight
proper sight picture for the pilot . line up the balls lol
@@PlaneJunkies I do not understand it, you can explain it expertly ? :)
As the pilot sits in the seat he or she would want to line up the white and blue ball behind each other with their eyes. that puts them in the proper seating position to fly so every time you fly and you adjust your seat it should be the same , its just a reference point
@@PlaneJunkies I understand :), thank you very much for your explanation, greetings from EPWR
Yes, the rear ball on the right side is for the pilot and the rear ball on the left is for the co-pilot. You would sight the appropriate one.
Question, how long did it take for you to learn to fly this plane ??
What is the actual callsign used?
How many total hours do you have flying? Are you a low time pilot? You look really young! 🙂
25 years in the air and you can tell!
Does IT take that long for preflight check?
I can go a hell of a lot faster but for the. I do I just took time
Hey bud, I enjoy watching you fly but you always look mad. Seems like you dont like when certain people fly with you in the cockpit lol. You seem much happier when you're up there alone. You make some awesome landings. 👍👍
haa haa ya i don't know why I have a pissy face lol maybe its cause im paying attention lol
When is the guy in the right seat going to stop texting?
Was that your biannual or you just want to visit the SpaseX? lol.
Tesla lol
I just talked my boss into buying a PC-24 for his 91b. As a lower time pilot, do you have any words of wisdom?
Awesome. Understand the Honeywell really well and you’ll be set

because LAX
iPhone 14:30 he needs to depreciate something over 5 yrs?
No chatting with the passengers?
no pax on board
Your colleague use mobile on take off but on commercial we can't do this how is this
You can on commercial flights airplane mode . Our planes have WiFi
Tom, how does one afford such an airplane?!
i think the company he works for owns it
You look like Tiger Woods Thai half.
haa lol we are the same breed
They don't talk to much...?
your co pilot isnt really doing much CO anything. Id like to see right seaters take workload off the pilot.
Flying single pilot
to me the pre-flight is too long wow i have seen 747 take off faster there is no fun in this plane,, sorry
preflight was done slow for the viewers
lol
