Thank you for your efforts and time to review the GC. Point of order, some of the confusion issues, you mentioned, could be solved easily from reading the owner manual. Yes,they still make them. Reading them increases the enjoyment of a new vehicle.
True but as I said in the review, I think car makers should be striving to make cars that don’t require reading the manual to use basic functions like cruise control. Thanks for watching!
Great information. Loved the review. My advice; read the instruction manual. My sister does it every three years, with each new vehicle. I do it with each new car. I read my airfryer instruction manual. You probably read your cameras' instruction manuals. Incidentally, iphones and android phones most certainly do come with user guides as do many of the apps found within. Without my phones' user guides, I'd be lost. Again, my stern advice, please do not get behind the wheel of a car unless you know it. Competency is everything.
Thanks for your thoughts Gaz. Totally fair call. In my defence, I change cars every week in addition to working a regular full time job and family etc... Point being I don't have a lot of time to read instruction manuals and I just think that in this day and age, we shouldn't have to read them to do what I think are fairly basic functions. I just want the user interface in all cars to be intuitive and easy to use. Some carmakers are better at this than others. Thanks for watching!
Congrats on hitting 5k subscribers. 🎉 I think I started viewing your work in the hundreds!! Love your easy, laid back style. I like that you were able to complete the review without bursting into laughter. Such a great straight face. Keep up the great work. FYI to put it in perspective, my 15 year old BMW 1 series with a straight six delivers 225kW and 400Nm from factory. The Yanks have nearly caught up, just that little, itty, bitty bit behind. 😂 Lloyd
At 190cm Alex, is there many cars you just don’t fit in that you really want to? A mate of mine is 198cm 110kg and dearly wanted a CX-5 as his family car and was really upset he just couldn’t get behind the wheel. The CX-9 was okay just, but way bigger than what they wanted. He ended up taking the manufacturer of his decision to ACC and Fair Trading due to his 6 months of research for an alternative to the CX-5 just not being enough research. Lloyd
My greatest disappointment is not fitting in the Hyundai Sonata. I really like that car and it's a mid-size sedan so I should fit, but my head is always touching the roof. Otherwise I would buy one! I can fit comfortably smaller cars, but the Sonata just does not work for me. Shame :(
I notice the cheap piano black plastic is scratched to hell. Apparently it's almost impossible to stop it looking shit after a couple of months. The only show stopper for me. Otherwise it was on my shopping list.
Unfortunately piano black plastic seeping into just about every car these days and yes once it's scratched it's ruined. Looks good in the showroom though! Thanks for watching!
Why do they call it "overland" - no accommodations whatsoever for an overlanding setup (no roof rack, no accommodations for modifications, etc.. etc..)
Overland is a namesake and refers to a 1911 Milton Reeves vehicle. The roof bars, used by almost every car manufacturer today for rack attachment (some use gutters) are there and visible here, but not highlighted or discussed in the video

What a beautiful car it's easy to see why they sell so well
Have to admit I was very impressed and did not expect it to be as good. Thanks for watching!

Why is the driver's seat on the wrong bloody side???
It's on the right side...
@@4wheelsandaseat Literally...
Cars that drive on the left side of their roads are meant to have their steering wheels on the right. Welcome to Australia, mate.

It’s also bigger than the European SUVs people keep comparing to it. A good fair review.

Thanks Lloyd! Appreciate the support. Glad you're enjoying them. Cheers!
😢 It's too bad he knows so little about luxury cars like the simple things of using the cruise control properly and adjusting the suspension.
Thank you for stopping by.

You can apply ceramic paint protection to it. Sold after care by dealers.

I guess technically it can go over land, but I guess the question is would you want to…
🥱 If you weren’t such a loser you could go and manufacture cars yourself.

If you say so.
