I've been borrowing my father-in-law's new Caire unit and found a used Inogen One G3 for sale and bought it, so I've had experience with both units. The Inogen is by far a better unit. The Inogen gives a more intuitive interface that leaves no doubt it is detecting your breath, as it has an LED indicator just for that function. The Inogen unit is keeping my blood oxygen level higher at the same setting of '3' than Caire. The Inogen unit displays exactly how much time is remaining on the current battery, while the Caire unit only displays a percentage and a huge battery bars on the display. I don't know if this is merely psychological, but the Inogen unit seems to give less resistance to inhaling. As for the constant service plug to sell the Caire unit, I'm sure the sieves don't wear out any faster on the Inogen and the price for new ones makes it very economical and easy to replace them yourself.
This report is alot of BS!! I have the Claire and it too, indicates when you take a breathe, and it's just as easy to use as the Inogen. Imogen filters last 1...one...year! Claire Freestyle Comfort filters last 3 years...three!!! Big difference! Imogen don't tell you your blood oxygen levels! None of them do. They just tell you the battery life because you don't want to run out of battery while your out. And it let's you know you when to change out the batteries. Because Claire model comes with 2 8 cell batteries. My friend has a enogen and it only came with 1 battery! So, you actually get more for your money with Claire freestyle comfort!
I have used my Inogen One G5 since April 2022 when I travel abroad. So far, I don't have to use it on land except when I get to a higher elevation somewhere >3K above sea level. I bring my pulse oximeter with me at all times so when I feel diizzy or whoozy, I check my saturation. I use my POC on the plane about 10-15 minutes as soon as we lift off or when we get to 10,000 feet above ground. My saturation goes down
So how long does the freestyle unit last, I've heard that the Inogen is only good for around 5 years and doesn't seem right to me. My friend got one recently and the manuel says that they are only good for 5 years of service and was thinking thats how long the battery should last lol. The machine itself should be good for at least 10 or more if well maintained and doesn't sound right to me. Maybe the manufacturer is trying to get people to purchase new ones after 5 years, and then they resell them to medical supply companies as refurbished lol. Does anyone know what the details are on them, something doesn't sound right to me
Which one for Shallow breather, have extreme Tinnitus , & migraines , wake up with one or both , not enough oxygen to the brain , found 2 L Boost helps sprayed into nostril which will help the most ?
If you have a copy of your oxygen prescription, give us a call at 1-800-520-5726 and we can help you find a concentrator that is ideal for your situation. We also have a department that can help you get your prescription if you need assistance.
My sleep study is mild sleep apnea , have had 5 breathing classes at VA wired up shows shallow breather , tried 3 c paps , feel starved of oxygen , using a small fan by the bed with much help diagnosed VA with SSD which with the shallow breathing causes the mild sleep apnea , anxiety , depression & the sleep problems, don’t snore or stop breathing
Keep in mind that the freestyle must be sent in to replace the seite beds. This means you will have no use of it if needed for a period of time, which could be weeks. 1st class Medical is very slow to get products out. When I ordered my first portable O2 concentrator, after a full month I still had not received it. Had to call them and it still took another 2-3 weeks before I got it and then did not receive the one I ordered. See where this story is going? Would not recommend 1st medical.
You should mention when service is required on the Carie you have to ship it and the Imogene you can order the filters whenever and have them sent in regular mail. That alone is munch simpler and inexpensive compared to shipping the hole unit and if you get a loner the cost goes up.
I bought the InogenOneG5 an had only problems with it. The unit gave me an error low oxygen reading with a very annoying beep tone every 25 seconds. It was replaced five times, all units failed with the same problem, they never exceeded 80 hours run time.. My suplier got me a Oxygo Next, also made by Inogen. I failed the same way at 60 hours. I will try now the Caire Freestyle hoping that they work better, not like the the Inogen units.
Yes you can run them at night plugged in. If you leave the battery in, it should run the machine as well as charge the battery. The machine has intelligent delivery, or sleep mode so you should be fine to run it at night unless you have a CPAP or BiPAP
If you can give us a call at 1-800-520-5726. We do need a prescription we have a department dedicated to getting that for you if you don't have one from your own doctor.
You didn't mention that the annoying alarm is able to lower the sound or turn it off on the Inogen 5 but not the Care AKA Arya.If you like to go out to dinner or to a theater or movie theater the Caire is impossible.
You are talking about a totally different oxygen concentrator. We are talking about the Claire freestyle comfort and enogen 5. And as far as sending in unit to have the filters replaced... most companies send you one out before you mail yours back in! So it's no problem, the one they send you is rebuilt to new standards! Just like the " new enogen " they sent you! Also... in 3 years you'll probably want to upgrade or just try out something else! So pay the big bucks for enogen, then 300 bucks more that the total cost of 1 Claire freestyle! My opinion, is The Claire is more.for.your money deal!
I had six Inogen One G5 units, all of them broke down in the first 20 to 60 hours of usage due to low oxygen output. They are not reliable. You pay for the name not for Quality. They always replaced them , no question asked, that tells me they know about the low oxygen failures, but they don’t seem to correct the problem. I am shopping now for a reliable unit and it is not Inogen till they can proof they can build a unit lasting longer then a year. 60 hours of usage is a joke for over $3000.00!
Sorry we can't ship to India. If you know someone in the states willing to receive the unit and ship it to you have them call 800-520-5726. We still need to see your prescription but your doctor can email or fax it to us.

They have a package with a lifetime warranty.
Mine lasted less then two weeks , then i got a low oxygen error.. all six of them
Does any Insurance company cover any of the cost of the machine? How much would it cost
They are close to $3,000.00. Many insurances will not cover.
Medicare and bluecross picked up all the cost of portable and stationary. With drs orders
If my Lung Doctor ordered me one when can I expect to receive it

Simply not true!
A very informative presentation. Thank you
Thanks so much for watching!
What are the prices for both units?
Do these companies provide a continuous flow machine? If no, why not?
There are several companies that have continuous flow units- Respironics, Sequal, GCE, Oxlife
@@1stclassmedicalinc.653 Thank you!
Do we need to refill it after
Nothing needs to be refilled. Just install the new sieve beds and reset the counter.
