I have the home concentrator how do I travel with it on the airplane I don't have the portable pouch caring kind of oxygen as of yet but how do a person travel with the home that you plug into the wall saying nobody can give me an answer I want to fly also this video would have been nice if you could have showed a demo
Only battery-powered portable oxygen concentrators that are FAA-approved are eligible to be used during a flight. Home oxygen concentrators cannot be taken for in-flight usage.
@@Oxygenconcentratorstore so so it can't be stored so we can't be stored with the luggage I mean I used oxygen but mainly at night during the day cuz my level been down to like to lie I just want to know can it be stored where the luggage is so that I can go see my daughter so if a person has the home concentrator but not the kind that you can carry on the plane there's no way they can travel unless they only travel with the home concentrator I need to go
What if the the person who is traveling in this long flight(aprox 11 hrs- 1 scale) can't be able to recharge herself the batteries, is there a plane personal who helps in this cases?, who can help in recharging the batteries?
FAA guidelines requires the passenger to carry batteries at least 1.5 times the duration of the flight. At airport or in car us the wall outlet or car charger to power the unit.
All this is very helpful for the person who has the need for lower flow oxygen. I wish they would address the high flow oxygen need as well.
Thanks for your feedback.
Very informative and helpful! Thank you,
You are so welcome!
Great information!
Glad it was helpful!
Virgin Atlantic have ditched oxygen. They recommend a company that charges more than the cost of the flight for a two holiday £550
What if your car doesn't have a cigarette lighter plug in?
You may check with a local mechanic what other option you have to plug the concentrator in the car.

Can I put my oxygen concentrator in a trunk of a car
Yes, you can store your unit there. However note that storage temperature limits for portable concentrators are around -13°F to +158°F.
What happens if you are on the tarmac for 5 hours???? I drop to 85% with no oxygen.
Blood oxygen saturation below 92% is considered below normal level. Please contact your medical provider.
