They should have built a regular Hatchback based on this. Something like a new Bravo. Something that isn't based on the 500's look. Fiat really offers no choice these days. I used to love Fiat, but they have lost me, sadly. Also, bang for the buck isn't quite right anymore.

we currently have one for the holidays on the island of Madeira in a sport version almost full option same engine same gearbox it's a very good engine and it has a good sound we've had it since this morning All that we could see as a problem was the automatic transmission, it is very slow and reacts too late, which gives unwanted kickdowns.
I have had one of these cars for 2 years now. And what I did find was that using E10 Ron 95 Fuel made transmission very sluggish. Not too why but I did some research and switched to E5 99 Ron Shell V Power a year ago, Since then transmission seems smoother, and isn't very slow. Someone advised me to try this because 99 Ron V Power allows turbos to accelerate faster, more smoothly, doesn't rev as high and there is less power required. So it might be that the car feels more sluggish for this reason. Certainly I noticed massive improvements switching fuels and I won't go back to E10 95 Ron.
