First video of yours I have watched and I am impressed. Love the garage and the truck you have in it. Quick list of Dodges I have owned. 66 Barracuda 273 Hi-Po with and 4 speed 68 Coronet 440 73 W200 PowerWagon 360 4 speed 74 Dodge Colt station wagon ( I actually miss that car, it was touch as nails ) 83 Dodge RamCharger. This is my current love. Building a 406 stroker and A727 with diesel parts and rebestos goodies. Have a Dana 60 rear, in the search for a Dana 60 front Passenger drop. It was all original down to the lean burn stuff. I have yanked every piece of emissions equipment off it. Line-X'd the interior back windows down, back to front up the fire wall as far as they could spray. Now that I have this RC I look back on all the ones I have owned. The 73W200 I would have robbed the running gear for the RC. The RC and a 68 Coronet are all I want in my driveway next to my Ram I ordered it when I was in Iraq, what I wanted and nothing else especially electric creature comforts. Hell I watched the road through the floor of my 73. My 04 is a Cadillac to me especially after driving military trucks. 89 RamCharger. Parts for the 83 04 Ram 2500 5.7, 5 speed, 4.10's power nothing other than brakes and steering. Gonna catch up on your videos and thank you for adding part numbers and sources. Ebay sells steering shafts for around $60.00. They are made in the same place as the Borg shafts that cost $250. I try to tell people I ran SKU and it all sources back to the same location. A skill I learned in a college logistics class. Love to see what you are doing and it looks like you are doing it right.
Really nice score on the radiator support. I found one in a boneyard from an 87. It was the only one that wasn't twisted or rusted worse than mine. I had to cut out the headlight buckets from both cause it had square cutouts and install the round ones. Luckily it had the wide radiator support.
Thanks man! That makes sense! Out in the shop today and I still have the box the rear bumper came in. I’ll get it packaged up and get a shipping quote If your still interested. Id love to see the old parts get used than sitting for years or get tossed lmk!
@@LilRedGarage Yes! let me know on the shipping. Appreciate it! I hadn't had my '81 a month, and got hit by a drunk on the way home from work, I had a good '86 rad support from a V8, and not giving it a thought, when I went to put my rad in, it was too narrow for the support. The original owner of mine had swapped out the Slant 6 for a 360.
Hey Dave, I have the bumper all packaged up and in the back of my truck. If you want to email me your address I’ll try to drop it off at ups tomorrow. Lilredgarage@yahoo.com
I just went out and looked at my 79 trailduster and it has the same round holes as yours, but on mine the turn signal/parking lights kinda use that hole for clearance
I believe all the 79-80 trucks have the holes, like you said for the turn signal clearance and wires. On the 78 turn signals up in the grill, the old core support I removed did not have them.
Hello my friend, just subscribed to your channel. I really like the content you do, very impressive work. I have a 78 Warlock that is in original condition, non matching 360 engine. The truck is in very good condition, just minor rust. I’ve had the truck a few years and hopefully starting on it this year. Looking forward to seeing your content and progress, you are very helpful. Thanks for your videos and time. Take care.
Great choices, I didn't know about the little red specific core supports. Do you have a NOS grill or will you be restoring an original? I'm in the process of polishing a 77 grill and then I've got 75 to do, very time consuming.
I have the original grill from the truck, it’s in really nice condition except the anodizing is a bit faded. I thought about striping it and polishing but man your right it is super time consuming and tedious work. I’m going to run it in original condition for now.
I have a 77 W100 that I am restoring. What manual do you have? I’m at the point of putting my core support on and was trying to see how you sandwiched the bushings together. My manuals don’t show anything with that part that I have found.
All I can say is BEAUTIFUL! I have a soft spot in my heart for these trucks. You scored on that core support!

I Looked for one for a long time, almost resorted to using a newer style and retro fitting it like you did. It was a score indeed!
Nice job brother.
Liked and subscribed! I THINK the only difference is the Six Cyl and V8 rad supports. The Six cyls had narrower radiators.

Thanks for subscribing! Glad your finding the content helpful and good luck with your project! Sounds like a great truck!
Thanks buddy,
Where are you located? I live in southeastern Ohio, thought maybe we could meet at Carlisle sometime
@@rickarcher9886 I’m in Rochester NY, I’ve always wanted to check out Carlisle. That’s sounds good to me!
Ok, sounds good. I’ll let you know if we’re going to be able to make Carlisle. Thanks again.
hell yeah
Bro, I have 4 red express wheels. They are in good condition with no curb rash, or hole wobble. the chrome is a little pitted but not bad.

I have a 78 grill that needs A LOT of work. I've had my eye out for one for a while now but no luck
Can I have a link for the rubber bushings please ?
Did you have any problems closing the hood?

I have a 78 w150. What manual did you go with?
@@lexrios5452 I did some custom work and mated it up with a NV4500. I would be happy to discuss further if you’re interested.
Where did you get the core supposed
