I have watched many of these videos and honestly the Grom seems like the most fun bike to ride on the dragon. I rode the dragon around 1998 on a 85 Yamaha XJ700 inline 4. I had a great time, but my butthole was puckered up the whole time. I thought I could really ride until I experienced the fickel mistress that is the Dragon. Luckily I didn't have anything to add to the tree of shame lol. I still want to take my Subaru up there for a run.
I just got my Grom as my first bike. I'm still learning lol. Now .....I have to do the tail.

I was there earlier this year at the small bore rally when you helped raffle off swag. Good dude. A grom there is slow, fun. Highly recommended
Man idk about slow. There’s dudes on groms that will out ride a lot of big bikes
At my meager skill level a run on my GROM would likely be as quick as one on my Versys! This sure was fun to watch.

Rode my grom up the skyway and the max it hit was 29 going up and about 80 coming down

Alright…. You have two videos or so on the grom and I’m sure a handful of runs on it. Are you enjoying the grom more than the Benelli?
Have you changed the gearing or done any suspension mods yet? If you haven’t tried out the Dunlop tt93s, they’re great for the gap and heat up quick!

Do you stay off apex in lefties to avoid head ons? Seems like a very good decision out there.
Correct, the head leans way over the line if the tires are close to the line.
What happened to the Benelli?
Still have it, but put a big bore kit in it and didn't break it in properly, smoked it. This is a friend's Grom.
@@killboydotcom I ended up selling my Benelli TNT 135 back to the dealer because I had so many problems with it.

Speed limit is 30mph now. Plenty fast in some spots but seemed a Lil slow in others.
@@colbyclark2479i know it says in the description but im sure this is mph. He was coming up behind people quite fast in some corners with 34 showing on his speedo.... which means they must have been doing 25. Not a chance other people were doimg 25kph thats pretty much stopped 😂. Also it just looks like mph when you see the speedo vs the scenery going by
