  • Train your brain with sleep hygiene to sleep better.
Perhaps many of you are trying to improve your sleep by picking up some information here and there and trying to implement it right away. Maybe you do this for a few days, but at some point you realize that you still have trouble falling asleep and often wake up during the night. What is missing for you here is a clear strategy to train your brain. With sleep hygiene, you now have the tools to improve your sleep sustainably. Make yourself comfortable and grab a piece of paper and pen because this list will surely change your life.
But be aware that discipline is required to train your brain properly. It is not important that you implement every single point from the video. Rather, you should consider which points give you the greatest probability of beating insomnia.
And now Happy Relaxing Everyone! ⭐️
    All the best, Edy 🤗

Thank you from NYC. Before discovering you, I suffered with sleep anxiety, racing thoughts and unable to really shake the daily stresses of my life. I have developed a nighttime ritual and they involve turning on your sleep sounds. My fav are snowstorms, rain on roof tops, rain on car, rain ok window and rain on zinc roof. Thank you for all that you do and continue to post content such as this. Great job❤

    Wonderful, thank you so much!
Part of my problem with sleep is that I have a long-term illness and am mostly bedbound. Between the illness and medications for it, sleep can get really messed up. Keeping a bedtime routine even if I can’t do the other things like stay out of bed etc is helpful.
Things go awry sometimes, especially if I’ve slept during the day. I find myself getting frustrated and angry that I can’t sleep, knowing that I’ll feel bad the next day even if I finally drop off. That’s where the peaceful nature sounds are so helpful, taking the mind off being angry and focusing instead on gentle sounds and quietness. I can’t always get to sleep in that situation, but being able to relax at least is helpful.
Thank you again for the beautiful soundscapes on this channel, as well as the lesson on sleep hygiene. ❤

Hi Just Me, thank you very much for sharing your story with me and the community. And as you sad sleep hygiene in some points is different to you than for others, especially since you are mostly bedbound. So when you sleep during the day how long are your naps normally? I am asking, because a 20 minute power nap probably won't have a major effect on your sleep during the night, but everything that lasts longer can trouble you. Do you have the chance to do some kind of workout?
Besides it's just lovely that you like my soundscapes. I really appreciate that. Happy Relaxing to you, Edy 🤗

@@purerelaxingvibes Hi Edy, thank you so much for your reply! Yes, daytime sleep can sometimes be longer than 20 minutes, especially if I’m having a bad day. I’m wondering if trying to do something instead of sleeping would be a good idea. Reading, music, perhaps. I do simple stretches but just got a book on yoga for bedbound people, which I hope will be really helpful - maybe that will work instead of a longer sleep?
Thank you again for your wonderful channel. It looks like so much work to make these soundscapes, I can’t thank you enough!
Have a peaceful and safe 2023!

Edit , è sempre bello vederti fratellino. It's always good to see you are doing well little bro. Remember I only say little bro because you are younger than me. I'm an Early 80s born, and you mid 80s, if I remember correctly. Either way Hygiene Sleep is Correct. When changing work Shift hours, it's when I need your sleep and relaxation videos more.
