You lost against Arsenal for crying out loud. You'd are going round like someone's killed your dog or something. Genuinely spurs fans are the only fans who are surprised by the end result. Every other fan expected that game to go the way it did. The only actual surprising thing about that game is that the goal didn't come sooner and there weren't more of them. @@tikemyson5627 Which makes it really bad if you can't coach players with potential while you're going through the rebuild by buying such players.
There were plenty of managers who won big by just assembling established players in their prime and replacing them when the time was right. ie Mourinho.
Arteta coaches players, but doesn't shy away from brining in veterans and established players.
Ange doesn't seem to be doing any of those. Does he really expect he will be there by the time youngsters he bought start performing?

Arsenal was Arteta's first ever job. The Arsenal board signed him knowing full well they were singing potential. Signing based on his future growth. Ange has been a manager for 30+ years. Arteta inherited the worst Arsenal side in recent memory. In mid season, when they were 10th, 7 points from 4th.
In his first summer transfer window he spent around £70m bringing Partey, Mari and Gabriel in.
He had to get rid of Ozil, Lacazzete and Auba. None of which brought any money in.
Tottenham didn't lose Kane, they sold him for 100m.
Arsenal fans who thought Arteta would improve the team drastically in his first full season are delusional at best.
So those "Arteta out" fans are really not worth listening to.
Fun fact: Arteta is the 5th quickest manager to get to 100 PL wins. He's also the youngest PL manager ever to do it.
Guardiola, Mourinho, Klopp and Ferguson are the other 4.
Which is funny because he had a really rough start.

Simple. Stop trying to emulate Arsenal. Almost every decision made seems to be Daniel levy showing his penis envy of Arsenal. Stadium by same architect training round built almost completely same as London Colney. Badge simplified down in same style. Built a stadium that they will never pay off to say they have a few hundred more seats but put themselves in massive debt. A long seated stated ambition by spurs is to have a tube station named after them like Arsenal. They tried to replicate the academy they tried to replicate the style of play their recruitment seems to be based around the phrase “linked with Arsenal earlier in the transfer window”
What levy has done has took Tottenham from the Stone Age, footballing wise, and put them where Arsenal were in 2006 (minus trophies) and in gigantic levels of debt. The up shot is: all that work has put spurs still fifteen years behind and modernising and stretching away Arsenal which almost makes the effort Levy has put in almost redundant.
Their hiring and firing is based on “what can we win” it’s always been “Arsenal are doing this”
It’s always been a quick fix on the footballing front. “How can we catch Arsenal?” How can we finish above Arsenal this year?”
It’s short sighted, naive and childish planning.
Arsenal don’t give a hump about what spurs do because they are not a threat.
Spurs to improve: get a plan stick to it for more than 16 months and build something. But that hasn’t happened and won’t happens because of the aforementioned Daniel levy arsenal penis envy. I mean you think a two colour shirt with different colour arms to the main body - the signature shirt style of Arsenal would be an impossibility to put to the spurs public right?😳
