We were beyond excited to come and visit Madrid, after all this is a city renowned for its arts, cuisine, and nightlife. With 10 days to spare, we decided to hit up some of the best sights and attractions and film a guide highlighting "25 things to do in Madrid". Hola y bienvenidos a Madrid. This week we are in the Spanish capital and we are going to show you twenty five of the best things to do in the city.
Final thoughts on your time in Madrid. Well, I really enjoyed the city. And I really found that it is super walk-able. We were here for 10 days and we hardly had to take the metro at all. We just took the bus once when we were visiting the stadium but the rest of the time we were able to walk wherever we needed to go. And also I think it is a great city for art lovers. There are so many galleries and museums to check out. And a lot of them are free in the evening. So keep that in mind.
And now it is your turn. What did you think of Madrid? You know what? I absolutely loved Madrid. It is a city that just really clicked with me. We have a lot of friends that are living here long term and prior to coming here I had no idea like why would someone want to come to Madrid? Now I totally get it. I love the culture, I love the food, I love the nightlife. Everything is really cheap. I go to the grocery store and I can get a one liter thing of wine for just over a Euro. It is just a really affordable fun city to be in. And it is somewhere I hope I have a chance to come back to again soon.
And that is a wrap of our time in Madrid! We had a splendid time and were truly sad to say goodbye to the city, but that just means we'll have to come back again. If you have any travel tips for Madrid, feel free to share those in the comments below.

I spent a year in Madrid. I cannot say enough good things about Madrid and Spain in general. it is truly one of my favorite places in the world. I don't think you can highlight enough how wonderful the people are in Spain

I fully recommend visiting the royal palaces around Madrid. Not just the Palacio de Oriente (the one in downton Madrid) but also El Escorial, Aranjuez, La Granja y El Pardo.

I'm from Madrid, if Madrid is famous for something is for its nightlife. If you guys want to meet young people you should definitely come to Moncloa-Argüelles (University area), Plaza de alonso, huertas, malasaña, La latina have a lot pubs, barbs, clubs, restaurants. La Castellana, Chamberí, Goya Recoletos, Salamanca are our fancy areas...chueca is the gay neighborhood, lot of bars, and clubs..it's a really fun area. Lavapiés is considered the most dangerous area, it's also the most multicultural area in Madrid...I'm glad you liked my hometown, welcome, come back anytime!!

I went to Spain back in 2011 for World Youth Day (I even vlogged part of it!), and loved every moment of it. I'd love to go back to Madrid and see it in a 'non-event' setting and be able to see more of the beautiful city. Thanks for this video, great job!

Thaaaat nightlife is amazing
At the "Tapas el tigre" you pay 5€ for 0.5l beer, but also get as many tapas as you want! Awesome way to try out the famous little meals in Spain. If you are a bigger group, you need to come really early. Also nearby is the mercado San Antón. I personally prefer it over the San Miguel's market. It's not that crowded and a little different, but just as good.

Madrid it's a beautiful city were you can do lots of things , but not only in summer , cause there is a lot of culture and activities to do in other seasons . Madrid it's beautiful on Christmas!💛

very nice work:) for night life i also suggest the Malasaña and the Chueca district,very lively,fun and lots of music during weekend nights!I recommend going up to the rooftop terrace of bellas artes and the Palacio de cibeles,they got a bar in there so you can enjoy the view of the city.Walking around La Latina district is also advisable it is Madrid old city.For shopping i recommend the Calle fuencarral,gran via or for high end the Salamanca district. for the Park i suggest the Madrid rio,its a huge park along the river.:))
