If you're wondering why the film distortion layer ends up not looking realistic, it's because the effects (rolling distortion lines, chromatic aberration, etc) should be on top of it, not underneath it.

Hi there, this tutorial was all done in Premiere Pro, so it won't be exactly the same as after effects. Give it a try in Premiere Pro. Good luck!
