    The grapple is looking good. Can't wait to see it with hooks on it & all painted up. Yep, you put about 400 to 500 pounds with the weight of the grapple too you're going to need some kind of ballast on the back. Ballast box, wheel weights, or a non-corrosive fluid in the rear tires. Stay safe.

      Thank you! I have fluid in the rears (unfortunately it's calcium) but I'll need something more. Not totally sure what, but I'll figure it out. Maybe another build video? Have a good one man!

    Are your rear tires filled? Filled tired was a game changer for my 30 up tractor

      @DennysCountryLife  2 роки тому

      The rear tires were not filled on that tractor. Definitely something it could have used. A brush hog on the back did just fine.

    Very nice work, you could always fill a 200 litre drum with concrete with a steel bar through it to hook on your rear arms it would make a quick and easy weight block.

      I think that's what I'm actually going to do. Thanks Paul!

    Which bearing did you use for the rotating square tubes?

    Yea I got those loader bucket hooks from titan. I was considering the clamp on forks.

    • @DennysCountryLife
      @DennysCountryLife  7 років тому

      I like those hooks you got! I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do for hooks. I have a couple shackles on it now, but hooks would be much better. Clamp on forks would be very handy too!

    Hey Denny! Thanks for this video series, I've watched all the parts and it's been great in helping me figure out a design for one I'm going to build. What thickness did you get for the quick tach plate?

    • @DennysCountryLife
      @DennysCountryLife  4 роки тому

      Thanks for hanging through the whole build bmikes93! I'm pretty sure I bought the 1/4" plate. The prices have gone up since then. They're around $100 now. If you shop on amazon or ebay you can find them for less with free shipping. Have fun with the build!

    Now it’s starting to really take shape. Too bad you weren’t closer, I actually have a 3 pt. mounted box made for a Kubota that can be used as a counter weight. Just would have to fill it with something heavy.

      Denny's Country Life shoot, my boss had it and wanted me to scrap it! I kept it figuring it would be beneficial to someone someday. Yeah would be cool to meet you also.

    I want to build one that holds only 6 bales for a 45 hp tractor and use a Euro quick attach, not the typical skid steer hitch

    • @DennysCountryLife
      @DennysCountryLife  5 років тому +1

      That would be a pretty simple build for ya if you're confident in your welding skills. You could make your own Euro style mounts too, or rob them from a junk bucket or something.

    • @Anteater6788
      @Anteater6788 5 років тому

      Titan sells a euro mount for about a hundred bucks.

    you are going to paint it massey red, right? lol

    • @DennysCountryLife
      @DennysCountryLife  7 років тому

      Lol, I thought about it, but Maxilator paints theirs in a color close to that. This one will be flat black with a few coats of clear.
