- Erection of two WOLFF 1250 B luffing jib cranes, 90 meters freestanding, for the Spitallamm Replacement Dam project around 1900 meters above sea level at the Grimsel Pass in Switzerland.
Mä notices that there is *a professional filmmaker* on the heat ....
The cut and music ..... the hammer
The aerial photos, great, helmet camera, great as if you were there.
Just g ..... hurry 👍🏾 🔝 👍🏾 🔝 👍🏾 🔝 👍🏾
Had the pleasure of driving the first 1250B in Switzerland as well on a dam (Implenia copied the emosson dam crane configuration but apparently changed the 500B for another 1250B).
Great machine, but a crane driver that only works by giving same input timeframe, mostly when the jib is the most vertical will never understand why the chains will start behaving crazy 1 min after. Not a crane for the typical kranfahrer to drive ;).
Double inputs to cut balance will only worse it. There's a technique.
IDK if Wolff has changed anything since my 1250B that went to South Africa, but the most impressive thing about this crane was the turn motor strength. 80km/h wind, jib all out, 1 on torque setting and only small inputs on the joystick would hold it. Lifting engine needs no praising, was just perfect. After, let's say, 8 tons on it would be tensed, you'd pull full lifting speed, wouldn't move almost and there the charge go.
Very fond memories of driving that 1250B, which was the one shown at Bauma 2009 ( I checked the serial numbers on the brakes against my pictures of that time!)
Probably best crane in the world at this T/m capacity, doubt any American or Chinese model would even stand a chance.
Also, advice to the crane drivers of these: when it's cold and the jib engine brake freezes, the place to remove the ice is in the axial brake. The drum brake of pistons is only for emergency braking (which is on emergency only) so it's worthless to tap there!!
Excelente montaje
Sois unos grandes montadores
Un gran abrazo desde España compañeros
@wolffkran What are the orange tarps on the top cord of the tip section for?
Both breathtaking and amazing!
👌
What country is this model manufactured in?
WOLFF cranes are manufactured in Germany.
@@wolffkranofficial Thank you♥️
great Job !
Amazing
Great video of technically two beautiful cranes! ... I have a question, there is now a third red base on top of the old dam. Will a third smaller crane eventually be erected there?
