Today we, Tanner and I, review House of Leaves. This is the first of Mark Z. Danielewski's novels and it is a crazy read, literally.

"If you don't know what House of Leaves is about, I don't know how to tell you," pretty much sums up my feelings about this book! I really enjoyed it, and a decent into paranoia is a good way to phrase it. Great video!
The books pages are also larger than its cover like the house is larger inside than out.
You were correct on your assessment. The book title means the house made up of book pages.
Thanks, I'm glad I wasn't the only one who connected those two things
Awesome Review. But forgot to edit (the background) Awesome 😂😂
Awesome book, great review.. Have you gotten into Danielewski's The Familiar yet?
AppleblossomM I have read the 1st but Tanner is really into it
I would wait on that. At present, it looks as if he's not going to finish it. Apparently it hasn't sold well enough for the publisher to continue through the entire planned 27-book run.
If you liked House of Leaves try S by JJ Abrams. I haven't read House of Leaves yet but I know S is very similar. I thought S was amazing!
Tanner is presently reading S. and I am going to probably pick it up after he is done.
Yes! It was so good!
Roommate in the background. Lol
I wanna do a video with you we can do Redwall lol
have you recently read this, cause its been forever for me. But, I'm down.
+BackToTheBook like a year ago. or you could give me a book to read before vacation?
go to the library and get survivor by chuck palahniuk. you said you wanted to read that before and its maybe 300 pages something im sure we could both read before vacation.
or The Passage by Justin Cronin I've wanted to read this recently
This might be a little late, but definitely pick up The Passage if you haven't yet! If you like disease outbreak/ post-apocalypse novels, you'll likely enjoy it. The second book in the series (The Twelve) was a little bit disappointing for me, but I'm reading City of Mirrors now and it's picking back up again.
I thought it was awful. I guess we're supposed to like it because it's so different...but it took up most of your time on a storyline that was totally meaningless.
