so fun fact. my grandfather was one of the first to cross the remagen bridgehead and cross the rhine. In this daniels is from texas, so is my grandfather. theres a high chance youre actually playing as my grandfather in this. Also, my grandfather helped take out a machine gun nest as well. From what my grandfather told me, they got this part pretty accurate. The late bridge blow with their own men still on it. The machine gun nests, the Stukas. Well, from what my grandfather said, there was only one. When they saw it, they shot the plane so much that when the pilot jumped out, he sank into the river, chute and all. Even the scene in the tunnel where they just shoot the hell out of it is right. My grandfather is either the ingame Aiello or daniels
The unit that took the Ludendorff bridge was Company A, 27th Armored Infantry Batallion, 9th Armored Division. They captured the bridge at around 5:00 PM on March 7, 1945. 1st Batallion, 310th Infantry, 78th Infantry Division (Lightening) didn't get there, and cross, until dawn on March 8th. So it's unlikely that your grandfather was in the actual assault on the bridge. There were, a reported, 367 Luftwaffe aircraft that attacked the bridge, along with a giant mortar, various artillery, and even V-2 rockets, in the 10 days following the capture of the bridge.
Damn this campaign was great! Loved the last view missions in particular, Crossing the Rhine was such a pivotal moment in war. But also the end I with the dead march. Real shit went down back then. Respect
The campaign was *decent.* All the characters were some Hollywood cliche. For the entire course of the game, they were literally trying to recreate Saving Private Ryan. There were also LARGE AMOUNTS of soviet weapons used by the wermacht. Yes, the Germans did use captured Soviet weapons, but there wasn't a large scale of them being used and there weren't many if not none on the western front.
12 o'clock is right in front of you and Keep firing means don't stop firing. Lol. Other than that, great game! I heard other missions (DLC?) are coming.
I understand that Pierson was incredibly upset about Zussman being captured (and probably very stressed out), but I think it was mean of him to just push his friends out of the way and curse at them.
Those people bashing in this page are the BF players. Learn to appreciate a good work lol. U just cant accept the fact that COD makes better campaigns than BF lol. Btw very good gameplay. There should be a Sovirt expansion pack for this one
JD 19 wow someone’s a bit triggered. We don’t give a rat’s ass if it’s historically inaccurate, as long as it’s fun. WW2 is linear and constricted, but historically accurate, while BF1 is wide open and expansive, but historically inaccurate. Both games are really fun.
BOZAK 115 Ah yep, the memories of waking up early morning on the weekend and starting up the GameCube just to no life Finest Hour.... Loved every second. Even those damn impossible sewers!
Story was great. This being the final mission made gameplay experience Anti-Climactic for me. I see why Black Ops 4 opt'd to not add a Campaign Story... though Call of Duty makes the best campaigns.
Can you even carry two primary weapons in ww2? Like I've been wondering this since I played the campaign. Like its seem impossible to carry two rifles. Like in this mission, I dont think any soldier had a rifle and Bar.
I just fucking got sense. That there is a same mission in battlefield 5. Although in this we are playing from the german aide. At the end we lose. And in cod we won.. the only difference is in battlefield 5 the grpahics are way lot better and is taking place in night time rather than day in COD WW2
I Am Watching This Because I Had To Secure The Tower But The FlameThrower Guy Wasn't Opening The Doors And I Remembered That Aeilo Was Stuck Some Were That Idiot I Pushed Him To Go Forward
*THE FIRST INFANTRY DID'NT LIBERATE BERGA AN DER ELSTER* You'd think sledgehammer could get shit historically accurate. But no. This is a huge insult to my grandfather in the army who liberated the camp.
1: stop complaining, you probably play the same way 2: he’s either young or it’s their first or second time on the campaign let em be 3: if u gonna hate get off the video, or just go back to your couch and spend 60,000 hours waiting for that BF loading screen to finish

Try battlefield 5 . The same mission is in there. But we are playing from the german side. Battlefield 5 is wayyyy better.
No
ISTFGGG
This is the first time in a game, where I wish there was more missions. It may not be historically correct but it is just incredible.

Was he a kasserine?
Who asked
This is just a game, he was probably on this mission and in the same unit but he isnt Daniels or whatever😂
I’ve played every single call of duty and this was by far the best campaigns, very touching
I live in Remagen. The bridge-towers are still here. They look exactly the same, well done.
Is the camp still there?
That’s awesome. Can you actually go in the towers?
Andrew’s Station yes, i think so
