You freakin' KILLED it on the DRZ. I'm riding down there this month on my DRZ S model. Not capable of riding like you, but still hope to have fun. Riding all the way down from Chicago and back on the DRZ. 2K miles!
Wow! Good luck,
How was the the long mileage on that bike? Back, arms/hands, butt, in any pain?
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this wasn't your first time on the Dragon! Man you have awesome skills, nice tight lines and smooth! I felt like I was on the back of the bike with you. I was watching the speedo, fast run by my standards. Thanks, this is definitely on my favorites!!
Just got me a 16' DR-Z400SM. :D Can't wait to try it out at the dragon.
throwing down the whip! nicely done... dammit man ir making me miss my Drz.sm.. I've been looking at the ktm just cause I want something bigger than a 400 next time. happy trails bro!
So nice to see a 400 getting it done like a supersport. Very nice!
Just got a 2017, downsizing from a liter bike. I do find myself doing corners as fast or faster.
Good to see you back on a bike! And what a great road. Would love to ride there sometime.
What part of of Tennessee are you in
I have rode the Dragon several times once on a 100 shadow and gsx 100g and had a blast of fun and adrenaline. One thing you can always count on is slow cars and pig bikes to pulse your rhythm. But I also have been guilty of riding the Dragon with a cruiser, my Goldwing which isn't made for this road!! Keep on rolling bro. P. S. I also have 2016 drx400sm now.
"Pig bikes"?
+Geoff Taylor probably Harley's or some other type of cruiser lol
When I go into the mountains in NC I love watching the motorcycles. Hopefully in a year that will be me in the twisties.✌🏼
This guy is fast and safe, I like that.
Yes, stays on his side of the road and on the right side. So many are leaning over the centerline. Nice!
Good to see you back man!
What bar ends are those?
What tires were you running?
first week end with the bike in down town Montreal fucking loving it
YEAH! you're back!
The guy at the end didn't want to be passed by a dirtbike, speeding up in the straight aways lol
Awesome riding!
nice run man. Is your suspension stock? What are your settings and what tires are you using?
It would be a sport bike that slowed you down 😂😂😂😂!
this has got me feigning hard to go back. next time will be my first time with the drz. ive been twice on the r6 and I know itll be way more fun on the drz
Glad to see your feeling better
You tore that shit up. No chicken strips on your tires haha. That's so sick this video alone made me want to get a drz or a super Moto type bike like that
Street Rossi right here.
Stock bike? Stock tires? Really awesome POV ride, thanks!
You killed it!
HA! THAT WAS YOU?! i remember seeing this on POTD on facebook
wow definitely got skills he was using every freaking inch of his lane thought he was going down a couple times but nope! lol
Nice!
How do you like the DRZ400SM compared to a sports bike?
Far more fun in every way
were you getting your knee down on the DRZ? I want one so bad, but I don't want to lose my sport bike technique when I ride the super sports. just curious?
supermotos are a funny thing. since they combine the attributes of street riding while being based on a dirt bike chassis there are multiple ways to ride a supermoto correctly. one you can do is ride it like a sport bike, put your knee down, and lean off, or you can ride it like a dirt bike, get up on the tank and put your leg out or even let you foot scrape the asphalt. those are the two most popular ways to ride a supermoto and people will probably say there's only one way to ride one successfully but I've found that either work fine. hope this helped and good luck on motarding!
+Dank Memes Thank you! SMs do it all better for cheaper, safer, and easier!
This is a place where guys with 1000cc sportbikes get their ass handed to them by guys like you! Awesome skills, i wish i could go on the tail of the dragon someday
This road is mental. I need it in my life.
US 129 " The Dragon" 318 curves in 11 miles. And kills half a dozen riders a year.
J Baker I need to go to the US, and do it.
Straight Rippin 🤙
Good video! I’ll be heading there April 12, 2019 riding my 2019 Drz400 SM
Wow. I now want a supermoto!!!
DRZ 400 !!!
Watch this everyday trying to learn the road
wheres this at
Justin yates Deals Gap right where NC n TN meet, 318 turns in 11.6 miles. Careful
I sure miss me slicks on my Drz400, but i love the offroad tires for versatility.
Which ones did you go with? I have slicks on mine right now but want something where I can get off road with my son on his 110
@@CoffeeAndBusiness Shinkos, Fronts 700's, Rears are 244's. I used the tubes from the old tires.
@@cafenightster4548 right on. Thanks!
this is a good road landscape
Wow man, it sucks to hear about your accident. I live in Tennessee, and, just like in any other state, some people are bad drivers. I'm glad to hear you're alright though. Sucks to hear about a rider going down
I have to admit though, TN has a lot more horrible drivers than most states! I have lived in Chattanooga for almost 3 years and was a truck driver for 7 years, and this area around Chatt.. has some of the shittiest drivers! Although other parts of TN aren't as bad I guess.. I'm from Birmingham though, where we believe in just getting on down the road and getting to wherever you are going. Not playing on the damn roads..
All states have bad placed in terms of drivers. However, I have seen some of the worst driving on the Interstate. People see a big straight road and assume the damn car will drive itself.
Tail of the Dragon, North Carolina...look it up people
Where is this road? PNW?
+Christopher De Rosa Never mind, just googled it! Looks a lot like the pacific northwest!
Christopher De Rosa NC to TN
Deer would make me nervous!
Ride as close to right side white line as you can, watch out for wild pigs, use caution on road the day after a rain. Takes two days for moisture to leave. Do not look at anyone on side of highway, keep eyes on what you are doing.
Nice ride
That moisture on the ground would make me nervous.
Darrell moisture! Come ride in Scotland mate
yep hahahha xD
There is always someone on a sport bike with full leathers holding up traffic
Or, not doing 4X's the speed limit on a road that kills squids like this dude daily.
Im selling my new xsr700 to buy one these machines for half the price, what an upgrade. buy some 18/21 wheels and a safari tank and im an adventure machine
4:27... putting alot of trust in oncoming traffic especially after being hit head on.
いいね👍
2:55 almost done it
eh i wouldnt try that cus the trees and cliffs
最後何か飛んできましたね
So fast
let er rip tater chip
everyday ride in wv
I live 10 miles from the dragon
he probably died.....only one vid after this
M Blake Jr Lmao. So logical
Dude a little to much wind noise there, maybe some tunes may have helped.
there's a hole in the GoPro from a mic in the helmet I didn't have the mic connected
mirrors!!!!!!! take them off man, drz is a lot more beautiful without them
