It's too bad you can't add a photo. I made them but based on a few commemts I altered a few things. I used the swerve brown sugar in the batter. 2 tablespoons. I didnt have sourcream so used cream cheese. On the top of each biscuit I added the swerve brown sugar (about a teaspoon spread between the 6 muffins) and then the cold butter. The top came out with hardened sugar butter coating which is delicious. Side note is that I don't do well with corn and have really missed corn bread. I dont know why but they came out like corn bread. I filled 6 paper muffin holders so they were high rather than wide. All and all very nice flavor and did make me feel like I was eating somewhere between a biscuit and a muffin.
Lupin flour won't raise your blood sugar. I'm diabetic, so I keep track. It's much lower in carbs than coconut flour, and tastes like wheat flour in recipes.
Hello again - update - I divided my batter in half, made biscuits with one half, then spread out the other in a bread loaf pan real thin, cooked for 15 min till golden brown on top. Then topped it with pizza sauce, italian seasoning, onion powder, fresh ground pepper, cheese, and pepperonies!!! YUM - great lunch - turned out great

I 've used lupin in chaffle recipes -less carbs !
Just got a bag but then watched two different people say how bitter it can be and to replace only 20% from almond flour. How did you find it? I was hoping to use it straight to cut carbs as well.
@@lindawalsh2464 I add lemon pepper seasoning to off set the bitter taste of lupin flour. I don't add almond or coconut to off-set the bitter taste. Also, to make a sweeter chaffle, add sweetner (low carb) of your choice .
😄Loved how serious your Mom was, driving the point home. Buttery like Pillsbury!!😄She was shocked, I think.❤
Super. Going to order! Thanks!
I have been using lupin flor for a good while now, i like it.
Lupin flour in my basket! Can’t wait to try! Saw a lupin flour egg roll wrap recipe online.. I definitely want to try that!! 💕👏🏼👏🏼
Omg! My gpa, right from Italy used to pop these all the time. If you’re cooking from fresh, they take days & days before you can eat them! Thanks Jess
MagickalMe yes they are very poisonous if not cooked properly!!
MagickalMe “it takes days and days before you can eat them” - eat what? The biscuits? That makes no sense! If you’re cooking from fresh - cooking what from fresh?
I've tried lupine flour, it's a very dense flour but very delicious. It takes some getting used to, kinda like coconut flour. I can't wait for lupine flour recipes.
New to your channel but have subscribed, I enjoy your style of presenting.
A lot of ingredients, allulose, for example, are hard to source in the UK but I’ve just managed to order lupin flour (from Germany of all places!) and am excited to try these!
Hey Mz. Jess, glad to see you and your family all together during this scary time. I think I’m going to adopt your mom. She reminds me so much of my mom before she passed away 5 years ago. She taught me everything I know about cooking and I was always the sous chef whether in my kitchen or hers. So tell your mom she has a daughter from another mother in NJ.
Can’t wait to try the Lupin flour. I’ve been watching Vernaz Mittal use it for awhile but just needed a little extra push. Thanks for bringing us great content. Big xx’s 💞, Robbin.
Wow! New to me....no one is talking about this!
I have the lupin flour but it is still in the cupboard unopened. Time to try it.😁
Gonna try it. Just subscribed. Cheers, Chuck (NE Florida) : +)
What!! I'm excited!! Will have to try this!!
Thank you for the tip! CAN'T wait to see more recipes.
Your mom is the cutest!!
I adore your mom!
❤This was soooo good!I didn’t have sour cream so used yogurt and it was great! . I’m making it again, today with SC ,Only problem..I ate like five of them in one day, hoping to control myself as I go forward.
Australia grows a lot of lupin and I've been using the "Crumb" version of it, as funnily enough I couldn't get the fine ground flour version of it locally, as it was all sold out. So I've crumbed everything I have in the kitchen lol
So expensive in Australia? So unfair
I ordered but will now try it. Your family is cute🤗🤗🤗 good supporters. Best regards, Elizabeth
I keep hearing about lupin flour, and now that I have found your video on it, I will give it a try! 😃
Your husband didn’t have to say anything, his face said it all! I’m still going to try them!!
Thanks for the video and other love your family!
Interesting. I might have to try this. Thank you for sharing 💕

Hello and thank you for showing us the new flour. Saying that, have you ever seen or heard of walnut flour? I saw some awhile ago at Walmart in NH but I didn't get it.

Just made it, easy and so good.
Hahaha...The only time I ever heard of lupins was in a Monty Python skit!
