You better buy a good, long lasting, properly welted shoes before paying for shining. It is wasting money polish a cheap shoes.
And, spend money on a shoes tree first.
the ones in mexico are 10 times better. They wash and condition the leather with saddle leathe soap, they re apply color tint, and then they apply wax, 2-3-4-5 coats even. This guy skipped all that and applied two coats of was on top of a dirty, un-tinted shoe.

Skipping the most importart part of leather shoecare: removing old polish and adding moisturizer before shining.
Way too much polishin product used, and all that excess wax looks nice at the first place, but once it dries on a flexible shoe like that its gonna look bad very quickly again. Way too much wax polish used, should be a very thin layer that would get to dry a good minimum 5 minutes before buffing off.
Pretty bad result to be honest atleast in long term.
Thanks for your comment, but I must say that we were in the middle of the road and not in a laboratory.
In reality this shoeshine has its own laboratory in which it works very well and washes the shoes before putting the wax back on.

With cleaning the shoes with cleaning solution like safir renomat you would actually get the lesthercto absorb shoe cream to moisturize the lesther and nourish it. This technique just adds more layers on top of a cracked wax surface and entraps all the tied dirt and prevents a full on shine and longetivity of the shoes while not letting any of the used productsvto penetrate into the leather.
I doesn't matter if you are on the road or in a cobbler shop, still skipping caring shoe cream is a major fault in service.
Also dont use the same brush for both cleaning the shoe and polishing the shoe, you just end up re-applying the dirt and dust you just brushed off on top of the wax again.
For cleaning use that stiff bristle brush, for polishing use a softer brush with longer bristles.

Muchas gracias por tu comentario relevante, pero tengo que decirte que el brillo del zapato me explicó que su calidad de servicio también depende de cuánto pagas por el servicio. Un servicio barato y rápido cuesta poco, si quiero un servicio súper profesional tengo que pagar más, él puede reconstruir incluso las piezas que faltan en un zapato.

How interesting the polisher drawer. The footrests are folded down because they have a hinge for that, at the front. From the middle to the front it folds over the platform (where the chair is), that's what those two big hinges are for. The whole thing should look like a box. Then put the wheels on each side, removed from the axle (0:15). The axle can be seen at the back. So it should have a handle and be carried like a suitcase. The seat will have to be carried separately.
also the chair is fixed. Yes, the system works in really good way and the shoeshine is a master !!!

Isso me lembra minha infância nos anos 70 aqui no interior de São Paulo (Lorena) quando era comum todos usarem sapato e na praça da cidade havia os engraxates, jovens de família humilde que ganhavam um dinheiro engraxando sapatos. Era comum vê-los na praça com seus caixotes (que se encaixavam nos ombros) indo de um lado e para outro para atender alguém. Eu mesmo engraxava meu sapato com eles, meu pai engraxava os dele e depois o meu. Ótimo trabalho vemos nesse vídeo , relaxante e inspirador, como um obra de arte. Belíssima Roma que pude conhecer quando comissário de bordo da VARIG. Valeu por postar.
Caro amigo, antes de tudo, obrigado pelo seu comentário e suas memórias.
Mesmo na Itália, no centro de Roma, após a Segunda Guerra Mundial, havia muitos sapatos para servir os americanos.
Agora, esse trabalho foi perdido porque os sapatos não são de boa qualidade e, quando são arruinados, todos os compram de novo e não consertam os antigos.
Esse meu amigo faz isso há muito tempo e é muito bom, muitas pessoas apreciam.

Мы так в армии сапоги чистили. Пеной не промыл туфли, а жёсткой щеткой пыль сбил. И начистил в конце ей же. Можно ещё плюнуть и не сильно нажимая щеткой довести до блеска. Слюна имеет такое свойство. Но правильно полировать обувь бархоткой. Длинным куском бархатной ткани сантиметров 70 и 15 шириной. Правильно почищенная обувь не оставляет на ткани колор. После полировки, в чёрных туфлях можно увидеть цвет своих глаз. На видео просто чистка, чтоб девушки не смеялись.
