Frozen shoulder is one of the most intense pains a human can experience. I’ve had kidney stones. I’ve delivered two kids: vaginally and via c-section. I’ve torn my rotator cuff. The frozen shoulder was by far the MOST INTENSE pain I’ve experienced.

What causes it? I've had a torn rotator cuff before too and that was more of an ache than it was intense pain.
@@petergates8570 I've got it in both shoulders too, but one side is much worse than the other. I had the MRI (Arthrogram) on one side and everything they pumped into the joint really seemed to loosen it up. It's really not like a toothache in your shoulders. I'd rather give birth than have a toothache.

I understood what emotions that nice to young man was experiencing. I had been in a couple car wrecks in my early 20s (not my fault!) & when I was pregnant at 27 the pain under my right shoulder blade was at times unbearable. There were times I'd half CRAWL into my PRECIOUS, AMAZING Chiro Dr. Peabody from Kansas. The adjusting & therapy she would apply to me was such immediate release, it was like magic. I am still eternally grateful to her. Man I'd love a good adjustment right now. The temporary pain during adjustment is SOOOOO worth it!!! ❤ Chiropractors are Drs of insane understanding of the bone, nervous, muscle, lymphatic systems... On & on. They all deserve SO MUCH RESPECT!!! Thank you doctor for your healing hands ❤

Ive had a chiro make my bones crack and when they get a muscle knot to release, for me, it felt like what melting butter looks like. Amazing sensation. I hope this gentleman continues to make progress to get his body back into alignment.

Damn, I was left with a frozen shoulder after a Tuberculum majus fracture. Had 40 sessions of PT, dry needling, you name it and its still not completely fixed. Amazing job and it looks like I might have to look into this as a treatment.

As an exercise physiologist I would like to say this is why it's VERY important to stretch on a daily basis! Before you exercise make sure you warm up, stretch, exercise (resistance training), and stretch again after using the muscles you worked. Maintaining or increasing flexibility is a must when lifting weights or doing any type of exercise. Most people focus on the weights and forget all about the stretching and this is what you end up with. Lots of pain when Dr. Doug has to get the knots out!

@@badgersbollocks1119 Well, the committee is wrong if they believe that stretching doesn't do the body good. The benefits are overwhelming and based on my own 27 years of experience in the medical field treating thousands of patients over the years, I guarantee you that stretching is a BIG deal! For example, if you have tight muscles and you get a chiropractic adjustment, that adjustment won't hold IF the muscles are tight. Why do you think the chiropractor was driving his elbow into all the knots in his upper back/armpit areas? Because this guy limited his range of motion by NOT stretching! In other words the muscles knot up due to tension and the ONLY way to prevent that is to STRETCH!
Only thing is if you are lifting weights to get stronger, then immediately before the lift you should not stretch otherwise you lose strength. Also, if you gain new muscle, that muscle will be very tight and you will be prone to injury or skeletal/joint issues like the guy in the video! Regarding the cardiovascular system, stretching has a positive effect on arterial health. Main thing to remember is that you should NEVER stretch a cold muscle as it can do more harm than good. I’ve had frozen shoulder from having my arm, just below my shoulder, broken. I know what this guy is going through. This hurts soooo much and you don’t have to be a tough guy to take this pain. You have to work through the pain for any gain!
I just went to the fourth session with my massage therapist for this today. She is awesome. I feel this guys pain. I had 45 degree abduction when I first went. Today i can almost touch my ear. External and internal rotation is getting better. But it has affected my hips, and lower legs. Anyway, a properly trained massage therapist can fix this too. I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2003.

I've been a deep tissue massage therapist for 17 years, treating some of the same issues (like frozen shoulder).
I started watching chiropractic videos about 6 months ago. I'm going back to school!
I am super tight/tensed in general physiologically & psychologically, add In AS & years of sports/abuse & ive also run every day for 12 years (long story) & I don’t even bother booking a chiro appt unless I can coordinate it within 90 mins or less of having a 90-120 min session w/ my long term deep tissue masseuse. I can’t be adjusted w/o it- unless it’s someone like Sr Willen here, but even then- I am just soooo bound up I need the pre-treatment. The muscles along my spinal cord where your lats etc attach are more like tendon/ligament than muscle tissue now, so it’s hard to get any movement till those get very loose. Long story short- combo of deep tissue massage + GOOD chiro is the key to feeling good. If I was a pro athlete making $$$ I’d have both on payroll
I think the Doc mentioned in the past that he was a Massage Therapist then went back to school to become a Chiropractor. That's how he knows all those muscles to go after trigger points. Good stuff!

This Active Release Therapy (ART) is not for the weak. I go to a guy who does 20 minute sessions. I’m praying for the end because dude attacks the problem areas right from the get-go. You’d definitely be wise to get this under your belt.

I had a frozen shoulder for 3 years shit is no joke. The pain/relief you feel when its unlocking is insane its like having a dislocated shoulder for years that finally slides back in its usually cause by a lower neck misalignment.
You can see the gratitude pouring from this patient, like he gave up & this is the miracle he never thought would happen... Someone with this degree of protracted difficulty would need several sessions, but this kind of physically adept person understands what has just been given back to him.

I had my 1st chiro adjustment at 42 years old. 30 years of a combo of tackle/flag football, tennis, softball 6 months a year, and pickup basketball. I got home and immediately fell out. I slept for almost 16 hours. I was a whole new human being.

I had this issue with my shoulder a few years back...went to physical therapy, didnt help. Eventually it just worked itself out, but the pain when doing certain movements was unreal
