Wow, great dress and Metro Blazer sleeveless Combo. You look amazing in this style and length of dress. I like the slit length you created. The top and skirt look great together also.
Both are beautiful. But the DRESS! Oh, I love it! It fits you perfectly! And that pattern with the princess seams in the bodice and the panels in the skirt are perfection. The fabric flows so beautifully at that length! Personally, I have always loved to wear longer skirts. I feel so feminine. Enjoy your new clothes! You look amazing in them. And I look forward to seeing what you will share in your sewing journey next video!! 😊❤🧵🪡👗👚
Gosh that dress is beautiful on you! Thanks for your demo, I feel more comfortable doing the neckline with your method compared to the original pattern method.
The fabric on the square neckline top was beautiful, BUT the pink on the sweetheart dress is very special, it’s so hard to find a good pink like this. The length of them dress suits you very well, and so slimming too. 🌹❤
That sweetheart neckline dress is amazing! It looks awesome on you. I somehow missed the sale on this one. Eek 😬 I love watching your videos, you give so many great tips! Thank you. 🪡💕
Ok. People keep saying the dress is beautiful, but I love the purple top, and I absolutely love that you have matching skirt and jacket. It makes them perfect for traveling. The top and jacket will look great with jeans or black pants, and the top with the metro blazer will also look great. Then you made the dress! It is AMAZING! I want all your makes today! Off to Love Notions I go.
I love your channel and keep waiting when you would post your next videos. I have never come across a pro sewer as you without having professional knowledge.. you are equal to an excellent fashion designer. The fabrics you choose are so apt. Every project is pristine and suits you soo well. Also you compliment each project soo well. You have blessed hands. God bless. Continue your great passion for sewingg❤
I appreciate your stitching discussions like 1) when you use straight stitches and when you use narrow zigzag 2) why you choose to stitch on your sewing machine as well as serge 3) why you choose to open some seams. Enjoy your thought processes!. 😊 Beautiful makes!
Katina, you look gorgeous in the Lenox dresses that you made. I especially loved the pink maxi version as you are so tall you can really pull that length off and as I stated it looks beautiful on you. The fabric that you choose was marvelous and they were both very slimming on you. Your videos are very good, as they teach us new techniques, tips and tricks, and time saving ideas to make our sewing go faster and us sew better. Thank you for improving my sewing skills. Take care, have a good day and be safe.😀❤
Both are so pretty but that dress is gorgeous on you. Just enough flow and the slit shows just a peak of leg. And the sweetheart neckline is so flattering! Thank you for showing us the intricate details!
Now I need this pattern. I love your pieces. The long dress looks gorgeous on you and very flattering! Stepping out of your comfort zone suits you well.
Karina, you make these designs look so elegant! I love both fabrics. The top would also look great made into a straight down dress, I love the fit on you. Looks like another pattern for me. ❤
I love the pink dress, the length is perfect. I would not change it at all. But you do you, the beauty of sewing is the fact that you can make it any way you like
You make the best videos Karina! You definitely sold me on this pattern and purchased it during the sale. Just about to cut out the pattern and hope to sew a sweetheart puffed sleeve top first 🥰
Wonderful pattern. Super duper easy. I have a test fabric to use before I do a final complete dress. This will be so nice while on vacation this summer.
Both your top and dress and lovely, the fabrics are gorgeous. I really like the sweetheart neckline and I have my Lenox pattern purchased, printed, and ready to go!
Thank you for this sew along. Your dress, top and skirt are all beautiful. I think the length is very flattering and you look fabulous. The line drawings did nothing for me so I decided not to buy this pattern - until I saw your makes. I’m away from my machines atm but I have just the right fabric for this when I get home. Thank you for your wonderful videos. I hope your hand is well again soon.
I appreciate you walking us through the techniques. I was a "meh" on the dress but NOW after you walking us through options and seeing it on you, I am adding it to my basket. Perfect style.
Both are very lovely, I appreciate your vlogs❤. I don't currently own any fabric that might go nicely, but I'll have time to look after this weekend. We are supposed to be in spring but it snowed and rained twice this week. Really puts me off sewing for summer! Kudos to you for frequently sew "out of season" for the Northern Hemisphere!
I was hoping you would do this pattern! We’re virtually the same size, so i get to see how it looks ’on me’ before i buy it 😁 Yours turned out so well. They look beautiful on you, even if the dress is a bit longer than you’re comfortable with. That hot pink always looks great on you 😊
Beautiful! I’m 73 and want one. Going to buy it on the fall 40% off sale. You’re right. The slit just is wrong, it needs to be higher. Just love the coordinates. Isn’t it wonderful when you sew items in your season’s colors how they all look great together?
That always happens with rayon spandex. You measure it on the paper and the slit it good but the vertical stretch of the fabric makes everything go lower.
Thank you for showing the sweetheart neckline - it looks fantastic and I love the fabric. Did you say what type of fabric it is. Really enjoy all of your videos and appreciate your knowledge. Thank You
Thanks for bringing this pattern to my attention.... Definitely be ordering it. It's just screaming to be hacked with the Bali bodice. I'll definitely be giving that a try. Maybe start the front bodice insert a little higher??? It'll be fun to try. I have to upsize the Bali 2+ sizes up just to get a less close fit. Sooooo this might be the answer to incorporate the pucker
Thank you so much for sharing this with us! Very much appreciated! I paused the vlog and used your affiliate link to buy this (shhh and some other patterns too). I’d really love a guide to knit fabric (if you haven’t done it already…I’ll check past vlogs.) I live 2 hrs west of Brisbane, Queensland, and I try not to buy polyester so would be interested in what types of knit fabric would give good results for patterns like this & in summer. I know you mentioned the fabric earlier, but as a new to sewing newbie, would be so helpful. Sending best wishes from Down Under 🥰💐🌸🌺🇦🇺😎 PS : the long version looks gorgeous on you!
Thanks Karina for all your work, I have learnt a lot from the videos . Would you consider lining the whole bodice or was there a reason you chose to only line the back? Thanks Alison
Hi Karina, thanks for this good video on this dress. I was wandering why you Serge first and then sew on the machine as opposed to using the serger with 4 threads? Love your channel.
This dress looks lovely on you! May I ask if you know the name of the tree/bush behind you in the yard? I am amazed by the various colours of the leaves.
That dress is so pretty on you! Would it be difficult to size up for the skirt (hips) with this pattern (long dress)? My hip measurement is more than one size larger than my high bust/bust size. With such a narrow skirt I wouldn't get away with using the same size.
As you do I have to lower my bust dart but I am only 5-5 so if I add length on all pieces would make the waist to low. Can you explain how to lower the bust volume on a princess seam. Thanks for your help. Love your channel. I have learned so many valuable techniques
I have a video showing that on the channel here ua-cam.com/video/xTorxunooEU/v-deo.html BUT I wouldn’t do that on a knit style like this. I prefer to do this by adding the length. Then you can take it away at a lower section on the bodice pieces. Remember that fitting knits and wovens is not the same and usually it’s much simpler with knits.

Karina you look so lovely in the longer style dress as well as in the top and skirt combination. Love the pink fabric.
Wow, great dress and Metro Blazer sleeveless Combo. You look amazing in this style and length of dress. I like the slit length you created. The top and skirt look great together also.
Thank you, Karina! Beautiful makes as always and I really appreciate the detailed instructions.
You are so welcome!
Both are beautiful.
But the DRESS!
Oh, I love it!
It fits you perfectly!

Karina, I’m glad you are trying designs outside of your comfort because this dress looks so beautiful on you! Very classy and elegant.
Gosh that dress is beautiful on you! Thanks for your demo, I feel more comfortable doing the neckline with your method compared to the original pattern method.

Love that color on you-really great with your coloring! The skirt with the purple top is such an elevated look! You’re ready for just about anything
Beautiful dress Karina nice and refreshing!
Love both versions!!!!
They all look fantastic. But I love the longer dress on you. It’s beautiful!
Oh thank you!
I like the way you sew the details. I always learn something.
Your dress is just gorgeous. It's so stylish and feminine. Thanks for taking us along and showing us how to sew this new Lenox xx
I adore your Lennox! Top and dress can’t wait to try it
The dress looks lovely on you! I'm inspired.
That sweetheart neckline dress is amazing! It looks awesome on you. I somehow missed the sale on this one. Eek 😬 I love watching your videos, you give so many great tips! Thank you. 🪡💕
You can put it on your wish list 😀

That’s the plan too 😀
Both necklines look lovely. Thank you!
What can I say other than absolutely gorgeous.
I love the pink dress, the length is perfect. I would not change it at all. But you do you, the beauty of sewing is the fact that you can make it any way you like
Love your pink dress! It's beautiful.
Thank you so much 😀
You make the best videos Karina! You definitely sold me on this pattern and purchased it during the sale. Just about to cut out the pattern and hope to sew a sweetheart puffed sleeve top first 🥰
Have fun!
That dress is gorgeous on you, I love the color!
That is lovely, really suits you. The style is much better in reality. I wasn’t sure for the line drawings but you nailed it. Thank you
Thank you so much 😀
Wonderful pattern. Super duper easy. I have a test fabric to use before I do a final complete dress. This will be so nice while on vacation this summer.
You convinced me. I am going to order the pattern only because they both look so great on you.
Both your top and dress and lovely, the fabrics are gorgeous. I really like the sweetheart neckline and I have my Lenox pattern purchased, printed, and ready to go!
Yay! I’ve been itching to make more but my tendinitis has me halted 😭😭😭
@Lifting Pins and Needles sorry to hear that. I have tennis elbow, which is painful, but I can still sew, just!

Beautiful makes as usual!
Vey Nice Karina! Clear sew a long , going to grab this pattern 🤗
Both of your makes are lovely on you, as usual. Thank you for showing us this.
As always beautifully made and a great tutorial that makes me feel that this is completely feasible for me. ❤ thank you.
Love them both, bought the pattern of course.
I appreciate you walking us through the techniques. I was a "meh" on the dress but NOW after you walking us through options and seeing it on you, I am adding it to my basket. Perfect style.
Thank you so much😀, I was very nervous when I was cutting out the long skirt.
You look lovely in dress ☺️ thanks again for teaching ☺️

Love your creations! 😊 thanks Karina!
Matching top and skirts.👍
Just bought the pattern and this video is ace. Thank you so much.
Thank you for showing the sweetheart neckline - it looks fantastic and I love the fabric. Did you say what type of fabric it is. Really enjoy all of your videos and appreciate your knowledge. Thank You
The pink dress is rayon spandex.
Hi Karina, thank you again for another helpful video. Your pink dress is stunning on you! 😍 I'm off to buy this pattern. Thanks, again!
Thank you absolutely gorgeous makes, and fabric choice.
A very pretty dress, love the pink. Thank you for showing us how you did the neckline. This is so helpful when I sew the pattern.
You look gorgeous in long dresses. I think they suit you better than knee length actually. Just my humble opinion. 😊
Karina the length looks so good on you. The dress turned out beautifully ❤️
Stunning💕, loving this pattern.
That's a fabulous look/length on you 🤗
Thanks for bringing this pattern to my attention....
Definitely be ordering it.

Lovely makes
Wow adorable
Beautiful
Love, love it. I agree your slit could be higher.
You need to wear long things. So pretty on you!
Thank you🤩🤩💜
oh they look so beautiful Karina love it

Thanks Karina for all your work, I have learnt a lot from the videos . Would you consider lining the whole bodice or was there a reason you chose to only line the back? Thanks Alison
I line the back with the intention of avoiding back bra outline marks, I don't feel I need that in the front :)
Do you ever use a walking foot with your knits?
very rarely! I have one but find it cumbersome to use the little screwdriver to set it in and then take off.
Hi Karina, thanks for this good video on this dress. I was wandering why you Serge first and then sew on the machine as opposed to using the serger with 4 threads? Love your channel.
It’s my personal preference, especially for heavier fabrics. You can sew directly on the serger.
This dress looks lovely on you! May I ask if you know the name of the tree/bush behind you in the yard? I am amazed by the various colours of the leaves.
I have no clue. I’m the total opposite of a plant connoisseur 😀
That dress is so pretty on you! Would it be difficult to size up for the skirt (hips) with this pattern (long dress)? My hip measurement is more than one size larger than my high bust/bust size. With such a narrow skirt I wouldn't get away with using the same size.
It’s easy to go to the next size, just blend in on the sides and you’ll be ok.
❤❤❤
As you do I have to lower my bust dart but I am only 5-5 so if I add length on all pieces would make the waist to low. Can you explain how to lower the bust volume on a princess seam. Thanks for your help. Love your channel. I have learned so many valuable techniques

I like that length on you.
