Your vlogs are like a cozy visit with a friend. Thank you for sharing your days- they bring so much joy and comfort during a sad time in the world. Oh and Silas- Barbie pink all the way
So amazing how different we all are - I can't imagine using milk chocolate in baking - I always used Ghirardelli bittersweet (60%) and now my new favorite is Trader Joe's 72% chocolate chips. I have to pick them up on trips, as I am very far from a TJs (or Target), too.
I probably need a food dehydrator (although I do not really need another appliance, lol) because making orange slice ornaments is never foolproof for me! lol. Thanks for sharing!
I bought mine years ago to make fruit leather and preserve all the apples that grew around our house, but now I just use it once per year for this project…may be worth it if you see one second hand though 😊
Love all the pops of red! I love shopping with you, it’s strange to think you don’t have my 2 go to stores. The two T words😂 that being said, you have me wishing I had some of your stores. That room under the stairs!! P.S. I love the font you use. I used to use that font when I edited with iMovie and purchased it. Did you take classes with Xanthe? I wish I could find it again. I also wish I had a dehydrator. I love the smell of citrus. I don’t have an ounce of Christmas up and your video has inspired me❤
Oh man, we had Target for maybe 2 years about 10 years ago and I’m still salty we lost it! The shop with the room under the stairs is in a tiny town called Ormsby and is called Old Hastings Mercantile. It’s dreamy for sure. The cursive font? It’s called magical. I’m pretty sure I downloaded it for free into procreate, I’ve never heard of xanthe… I can’t remember why I bought my dehydrator, but this is all I use it for now to be honest 😏. I’m glad this got you feeling festive!
@@the.ellemars thank you for responding to ALL my questions and comments! I met Xanthie way back when I was active on Flickr. I took a couple of her film making classes. She makes dreamy films like yours.
@@the.ellemarsI think I found it on eBay! Or one darn close. I’m just a few hours south of you, in New York…I need to get my crap together and get a passport. Your area looks so lovely.

I’m still amazed that anyone enjoys watching them, but it means so much and that is exactly the vibe I want. I can’t even with the world right now…
Lovely and cozy! Happy Holidays and thanks for the inspiration.
Happy holidays to you! Thanks for being here ❤️
Also - love the Canadian Tire tour because you know what- it actually has a pretty awesome selection! They should pay you for your endorsement ;)
Haha! Wouldn’t that be so fun! Every year, I am amazed by their selection!
Your kids are so funny!!! I love their comments! Sashay wave 😅❤
Haha! Thanks, they’re kind of naturals with this vlogging stuff to be honest!

Can you adopt me please? The cozy made my anxiety melt away :)
Haha! Well there’s plenty of that in my days too, but I’m so glad these videos do exactly what they’re supposed to do ❤️…living for the glimmers
@the.ellemars I hear you - sending big hugs always :). And yes, GLIMMERS!!!
Love your videos :) also, I think I love your purse! Do you know what brand it is? And your coat! lol.
Awe! Thank you! My purse is a 20 year old Roots flat bag and my coat was a recent thrift job! It’s wool, oversized and originally from H&M 👌👌
@@the.ellemars I shall scour the internet! Haha.

@@alissawins oh nice! The coat or the purse?! I see loads of Root’s purses while thrifting or on Poshmark 👌
