Came across this today, it's amazing and it's going to change animal recovery for life! Amazing. I'm in a wheelchair so it would be great for me
As I get to be a more mature Hunter, I have 16 years of experience. I get to notice that more deer go back to where there were shot or close to it, or the general direction where they were from.
👍
@@dronedeerrecovery why do you think that is?
A wounded or scared animal is programed to go back to what is familiar and the last place they were safe. They will typically take the path of least resistance. Heart shot or high shoulder tends to make them drop or be within 10 yds. Double lung within 50-80yds. Gut shot within 80-100yds and bed down unless you bump them. If you're not sure of your shot back out and give some time. A deer has to loose 40ozs of blood for it to be lethal.
I love scrolling through comments and finding yours! Lol
Awesome. This is my new favorite channel.
Thank you 👍🏼
That’s is some awesome info and hunters don’t know what can happen when they leave it at night! Great video and Awesome info Mike
Thank you 👍🏼
Thank you for the video and the fact that you don't make them too long.
Thanks for watching!
Big congratulations to the hunter, great job not giving up!
Amazing all the testosterone in this video...
"how many deer we've shot & lost "
Learn to shoot !
Aim small miss small 🎯
Love the use of technology 👏 👍
Was thinking the same thing!
Thanks for watching
First time watching, and this is so cool!
Thank You!
now for clarity! it's NOT YOUR MISTAKE DON'T REPEAT YOUR MISTAKE! it's their fault now they only have to pay 4000$ to you. you are doing a very good job. 👌👌
Ok 👍
Mike from Whitetail Adrenaline?!?! Cool content man. This is the coolest thing ever! Goodluck with everything!
😁👍
Out of every 10 calls you take, how many dead deer would you say you recover?
This is a stat, along with a lot of others we wanna compile and release at some point - we have gathered so much info from one season
Need to have more of the drone searching in the videos
Thanks for watching
These guys are popping up like wildfire in my area. I’ve noticed the only “hunters” using this type service are the guys driving a 100k pickup pulling a 30k side by side to their 500k+ hunting camp where they sit in a 10k heated shooting house wearing 2k worth of the latest gear shooting a 5k setup. Only a matter of time before said guys just buy their own drones instead of paying these fly by night companies to do something anyone can do.
Where are you from? The guys are popping up doing this?
@@dronedeerrecovery I’m near Nashville but I drive hot shot throughout the southeast. There’s been two guys here locally startup since this season started, and I’ve been getting Facebook ads from one in Alabama and another in Georgia.. I guess because I’m always driving through there. The ad for the one in Alabama just popped up last night.. think it was Southeast Deer Recovery or something like that
@@JT-oq9eu Wow interesting 🤔
Maybe so but if you own it you can't write it off on taxes. People with $ lease properties to take "perspective clients " to and claim it on taxes as a write off. Drone rental/deer recovery is an extra write off for them
Yep. They are scared of the boogie man. 😂😂
sure could have used you last week. awsome work..
Thanks 👍 next time. Hopefully there is an a next time.
Sounds like they need a little more target shooting. Talking about wounding multiple bucks in just a couple years. Not a great looks for ya guys.
Exactly
Thanks for watching
Anyone who has never had trouble finding a buck hasn't shot very many. I have seen heart shot bucks go 500yds and in thick cover it may as well be 5 miles. Judgement breeds bad karma
@@davewylie654Oh, ok🙄
@delmarvelouslivingwiththem9739 I often wonder how many lost deer are literally right under our feet and we don't see them in the brush I have shot a bunch and have lost two over the years that I know were hit well it's unfortunate but reality
Just looked at this video. When you initially located the buck, and you were decending for a better view, take a look at about 1 oclock. I said to myself that they looked like dogs or coyotes. Then you continue the story saying the deer was jumped up by coyotes. Hmmmmm, could those in fact been the guilty party?
Thanks for watching
Good job man.... Happy Holidays!
Thanks for watching
Thats why you hire good dogs that can bay. That deer would have been caught asap and no meat wasted. Cool technology but finished dogs cannot be beat.
Thanks for watching
Waaa cool this tech
Thanks 👍🏼
Great video!
Thanks
Good job!
Thanks!
What kind of drone do you use in these searches and typically how much do they cost?
Dji. $15,000

The irony being that humans will also be hunted the same way with future military drones. Fitting isn’t it.
🤔
What's with the audio checking in and out with your videos?
😅
Love your video’s but I thought you couldn’t use drone’s to assist hunter’s finding their game? I watched a video and FAA part 107 restriction’s on it? Which is correct, I would love to use my drones for finding game in Va! I’m gonna have to check to see if Va allows it???
You can’t scout/locate a deer and then go shoot it. That would be unfair. Finding it after to harvest is legal
It varies state to state
Yes it does here in Indiana against the law even for recovery.
this is a gamechanger for sure .. next step .. guy with a drone on radio with shooters leading them to bedded bucks. not all technology is good.
That would be illegal and also unsportsmanlike
Thanks for watching
Seems like LOS was non existent here…..
What language are yall speaking? Every now and then i hear some english. But what is that local language your speakin early in the video?
Pennsylvania Amish Dutch
This is for the people saying hunters cant shoot. As someone that is starting to do this let me say, sometimes hunters make a bad shot. Everyone that has hunted has if you are honest with yourself. Not every shot is like this, but you have to understand if the drone is called in it isn't for a clean kill. Therefore a high number of videos will look like hunters can't shoot. Believe me it is a very small percentage that need help finding. Drone technology has just made it much more moral being you don't jump and chase a wounded deer mile after mile. Or impact the hunting property by stepping all over it.
Very true and thanks for watching
Hello I want to buy a drone for wild hunting. I am thinking between Yuneec ETX and DJI Mavic 2 enterpice or 3 T. What do you suggest? Thank you in advance for your answer!
What do you mean wild hunting?
Hit me up here in tennesse I have alot of drone experience flying through these mountains
I would, if you would fly a Matrice 30t
You really need a dog and handler on your team. A dog would have found that deer fairly easy.
I'm a tracker in Illinois where it's not legal to use a drone at the moment. If it was I'd be getting one to add to my tool belt.
Why is it not legal in Illinois?? Don’t understand that isn’t it the FAA who regulates this federally??
It is 100% legal to use a drone. Theres supreme court precedence already that states that no state or county can make a law against something that is federally regulated by the faa
@@krotchlickmeugh627 That’s what I thought but what do I know I am just a Canadian with different laws lol
Thanks for watching
It is illegal in Alaska, Colorado, Montana, Idaho and Wyoming to use a drone before , during or after the hunt. Some of these states make it illegal to even fly a drone during hunting seasons but allow it before. Alternatively if you shoot a B&C or P&Y and use a drone as part of scouting or recovery it likely won't be accepted because of the "scouting" or "herding" with an aircraft clause
Aren't nighttime drone operations against FAA Part 107 regulations?
Not anymore. There is a new portion of the test for nighttime.
@@kyle1759 I own a Geospatial Consulting firm in NC, we have a sophisticated UAS program, codeveloped high accuracy LiDAR and imaging systems with Microdrones. I have 3 part 107 and NC commercial licensed UAS pilots who’ve conducted more than 3,000 commercial drone missions. We’ve never been able to obtain a waiver for nighttime operations from the FAA, tried many times since we can conduct UAS LiDAR missions at night.
@@kyle1759 I stand corrected, my UAS director just told me that we added Remote ID and non collision lights and a nighttime waiver is no longer needed.
No not in America
what state do you usually work in ???????
Mostly Ohio
So what is that drone, thermal, camera setup?
DJI m30t

How many of your recovery's are a result of cross bow hunting?
This is something we’d wanna release at some point - we have been able to gather a lot of stats from recoveries this season

@@dronedeerrecovery most of my family are from PA so I probably should have known that but Ive been in Texas 95% of my life
Be cool to use this for deer hunting and finding their locations to set up on them, wonder if it's legal?
It is not legal to scout deer with a drone in Michigan. You would have to look at laws in whatever state you are hunting.
@@dadsdonttouch6856 there's never such mention in regulations about scouting deer with a drone
@@TNsher776 Most states have there own regulations on this.. some same 24 hours before you hunt, other states say for the whole hunting "season", and some allow it.
Lazy, just Lazy! You are taking an animals life. Put in the work... Technology is ruining so many things! I whish it was illegal everywhere, if you can't beat them ethically then stay at home.
Not legal
