Private Peter Oshanek, First Canadian Army Headquarters, his photo album is amazing, one pic Smokey Smith, John Mahoney, Mad Jack Churchill, David Currie, 1 other i havent been able to ID (yet), sitting on lawn chairs and laughing unsure their location, he wrote on the backs of some photos, unfortunately not this one. He said very little about his service overseas, (1944-46). Survivor, WW2 then a TB patient in the Saskatoon Sanatorium for 7 years, he died at age 75 and took his stories with him. I think for some parts, were kept under secrecy acts as I've noticed some veteran stories, were told for the first time, released after 50 and 75 years ... Lest We Forget.
