The Opposition - 'Very Little Glory' - Live in Poland 2018

The Opposition playing 'Very Little Glory' during an 'open rehaersal' in Radio Łódź concert studio (in Łodź, Poland) on 24th Oct 2018 - two days before their 'normal' concert on Soundedit Festival.
This was their first concert in 24 years and the whole preformance was just stunning!

Great to see the music still coming! I got into the opposition through listening to So , Horseshoe in the Glove , Blue Alice Blue is a favourite of mine to this day . Marcus Bell , very underrated bass player , sadly missed , but the music goes on .

Oh My god!!! the dinosaurs, the best cold wave group with Joy division, the... are back !!! It is fantastic !!! An historic moment in the music. Hope they will be with us for long time again. They are incredible musicians, incredible words..

25 avril 1982. Quelque part dans la campagne tarnaise 3 anglais sont venus se perdre invités dans une vieille ferme devenue l'une des boîtes les plus branchées de la région toulousaine, l'Enfer... Ce soir là, avec un son énorme Mark LONG Ralph HALL et Marcus BELL nous ont scotchés.. Nous n'étions qu'une poignée ce soir là. Inoubliable.
Ils sont revenus le 11 février 1983 et là c'était gavé de monde. Memorable.
Depuis ils tournent encore régulièrement sur ma platine. ❤️
Belle version 36 ans après mais mon cœur reste à l'original. A écouter sur l'album Breaking the silence.

I've been a fan since 1983 and I even made the wall during my military service in Cambrai to see them in concerts in Lille and Paris.
This group deserved to be better known but I feel like they have strayed along the way.
Glad to see an incomplete version of the band and an interpretation of "Very Little Glory" a little below what they were ; we're all getting older but I still have my poster from their 1984 tour ;-).
Thanks for this beautiful video and a thought for Marcus BELL.

one of my all time bands. sadly i only got into their music after they had split. and was gutted. i always thought of there music ahead of their time. i loved that you could hear everything and the singing. so many bands over the years cram everything into a track and so much noise. but the opposition always sounded great. thanks for sharing i hope they start touring the uk soon. sadly not the original lineup but still sounds great. :)
