I have never had so much love and respect for any entertainer as I have Ronnie Milsap. I love this man so much. He has been such a inspiration of life and music. Oh, what a magical voice he has. No one has deserved a lifetime of success more.
One of the geniuses of country music. Mixing country, rock, Doo Wop and soul it comes out wonderful. I'm glad he always followed his heart. His music was played on my very first date when I was 14. 15 years later his music is still very special to me.
So sorry to hear about Ronnie's wife to have a love like that, You never let your fans down your are just amazing thanks for letting us share apart of you and your songs.🎹
Yeah I love his music. I'm only 25 but I'll take him any day over most of the stuff out now. I guess going back in time is cooler than staying in the present. What's your favorite Ronnie song?
I'm 26, and I listen to Ronnie Milsap virtually everyday driving to work. And how cool in this video that it shows Mike Reid standing there with Ronnie as they play Stranger In My House ( a song Mike wrote). Folks may not know Reid is in the College Football Hall of Fame for his playing days in the late 60s at Penn State.
Love this video, and learning about this man and his awesome talent. I always wish I could play the piano. Love the sound of a Grand piano, really touches my heard.
Pretty sure that was former NFL star and song writer Mike Reid with Ronnie when he was singing Stranger In My House. Mike wrote about half of Ronnie's #1 songs throughout the 80's
his mother believed the Devil has cursed her with a blind child and so she abandoned him. But God had blessed her son with a musical gift. He was a true star.
I live in Robbinsville his home town always heard he held his childhood against the the place even changed the way his last name is spelled it has 2 LLs with an s on the end only came back once when his grandfather passed away

I saw Ronnie Milsap on April 30, 1987 at the Hampton Coliseum in Virginia. He and T. Graham Brown opened for Kenny Rogers.
A 10-year night indeed!

Ronnie might not mention the fact he helped to save 64 lives one night with his radio.

He’s such a good entertainer. I wonder if his mother and grandparents learned of his success.
