I agree completely. In fact, it was NOT Chancellor Palpatine/Darth Sidious but rather the Jedi Order in general, and the Jedi High Council in PARTICULAR (possibly excluding a couple Council members such as Plo Koon and Yaddle), combined with the Jedi Code that were responsible for the creation of Darth Vader.
And in my personal opinion the Jedi were JUST as evil, if not MORE so, then the Sith in TWO SPECIFIC ways:
1st - absolutely FORBIDDING love or ANY type of emotional attachments of ANY kind;
2nd - taking (if not flat-out stealing) newborn beings from their families and DENYING them the opportunity to actually HAVE a family, and ALL in the name of 'Galactic Peace and the Jedi Order'.
Say what you will about the Sith, but no matter HOW evil and cruel they could be, the Sith at least DIDN'T fill their ENTIRE Order SOLELY with beings TAKEN from their parents either at birth or shortly thereafter. Granted it's likely that the Sith DID sometimes take/steal newborns or older children from their families to turn them into members of their Order, but it WASN'T 100% of the time like it was with the Jedi.
Just my own personal opinion anyway.
@@reedallen4613 I dig it. Remember both Sidious and Darth Bane were both late teenagers or young adults well before they touched a lightsaber. Sidious was basically a serial killer and Bane was well damaged, but either way they experienced life before they fell in with their order.
@@turtlesage28 you're exactly right dude. Bane and Sidious, as well as MOST (not all, but MOST) members of the Sith Order were at least given the CHOICE as to whether or not join the Sith. How many times in the ENTIRE history of the Jedi Order could Jedi HONESTLY say the same thing?
But regardless of my opinion about the Jedi Order, still a GREAT 'what-if' scenario video.
These 'what-if" scenario videos are ALWAYS awesome. So much thought and time and effort are put into each one.

As a double amputee, that's something I appreciate. It's not the major things that make you want to quit, and just waste away. It's all the tiny issues that stack up.

This is one of the best stories I've heard on this channel, on par if not even better than "What if Obi-Wan and Ventress fell in love with each other".
Honestly, just by your story alone, I think Obi Wan & Shaak Ti together would work better than Obi Wan & Satine Kryze. And it shows. Probably one of the only Jedi that Kenobi could ever get closest to. The chemistry they'd have makes so much sense. And we know Shaak for being almost a mother figure to the Clone Domino Squad without getting too attached to them. This dynamic is fascinating.

What if Obi-Wan actually took Count Dooku at his word on Geonosis?
I really liked this what if, I liked how their story was woven in between the larger canon events and how them leaving the order would or could have effected those events. I liked that you did bring in canon events like the duel with Maul. I thought the idea of Anakin being rejected by the order and Qui-gon and Dooku, especially since you left how that battle would play out to our imagination. I think Maul would have needed brown pants to hide the fact that he would have soiled himself when confronted by Qui-gon and Dooku. I imagine Dooku's reputation as a duelist would have been widely know and now instead of facing 1 knight and his apprentice, he was now facing 2 masters. This would have been a oh "poop" moment for Maul. As for the main story, I enjoyed this and how it was shown that the dogmatic Jedi and their code was ripping the order apart from the inside driving individuals out of the order and in some cases to the dark side. I almost thought you were going to have Obi-wan and Shaak Ti as a dyad in the force, in some ways I am glad you didn't, in other ways I wish you had. Well done!

Great story, one of my new favorites next to Obi Wan falls in love with Ventress, a very beautiful story. Like you and others, I admit that I love romantic stories/fanfictions since I find them the most interesting and love seeing different ships. Also watch part of Anakin never being discovered and find it interesting, need to finish it someday.
Just to let you know, maybe you should not be too concerned over making your own Anakin/Ahsoka fanfiction. As you said it can be tricky and you like it to feel pretty natural or close to it. Besides there is the excellent Star Wars The Clone Wars fanfiction, "A Path Less Taken", one of the best I ever read of any fanfiction, and it feels natural. You are welcome to share about this on your channel or any other site, might or might not need permission from the author.
As with Ahsoka and Barriss becoming a couple, that could be tricky, especially making it feel natural. The only ideas I can sort of give is I think the bombing of the temple is important, either it happens or not. Also, I think the distrust of the Jedi Order's code would give them some similarity.
Finally with Luke and Oola, that might be even trickier because not much is known about Oola. May have to do some research and fill in the blanks a bit. Plus, hard to figure out what connects them. The only idea I can give is their dislike of Jabba the Hut, but that might not be enough.
Again, great stuff, I look forward to what you put in the channel.

Darth Tyrannus, in lieu of the clone wars, what if Dooku created a Jedi civil war and breaks off a Jedi faction who uses the dark side for good means. Anti-hero’s per say as opposed to tied to Senate & politics. The senate starts to take sides, Palps then confronts this faction to join or die and there is a limited openings so….. and the job interview (like the dark knight) makes you dispatch your mate.

Qui-Gon Dad is the best Jedi Dad. He has Obi-Wan's back, no matter what the lad needed. You will always support Qui-Gon Dad, for he is awesome. I also love Obi-Wan being a romantic, even if this ship isn't my favourite one (I'm an Asajj/Obi-Wan lover) it's still beautifully explained.
I do agree that Romeo and Juliette is a little polarizing by todays standards. But at the time when Romeo and Juliette was written, 13-14 meant you were basically an adult, most people didnt live that long, so their perception of maturity was very different from what we have now.
