- Today you are flying with me from LA to Ha Noi, Vietnam, transiting through Seoul, South Korea. Flight OZ 203 (LAX to ICN) & OZ 729 (ICN - HAN)
The one-way ticket is $2300. I think it’s a pretty good deal. Watch it till the end and tell me whether you think this is a good deal or not.

I totally agree with you. I flew business class to Mexico City on Aeromexico and never flew back in economy ever again.
It’s so hard to go back, they really spoiled us in Business 😂

Is it really worth it? So expensive. If it was like $3000 maybe I'd do it? But plane tickets are just not cheap plus if I'm flying internationally I want as few layovers as possible. I'm not paying $4000 and for it be a 26 hour trip xD

It is worth it. Look for low season to travel, there is always good deals on business class.

The most important thing about a video such as yours and many others is "accurate" and unbiased information, so I can make the most accurate and informed decision. I am going to MNL from SFO via ICN so your video was helpful as far as "if the ICN lounge is open", and the no screens on the seatbacks of the A321NEO business to Hanoi (or in my case Manila). Older type airplane. This is important because this can be a deal breaker for some who like watching movies all day. The A350 Business to ICN from either LAX or SFO is the same. Thank you!
Hi Andy, I appreciate the comment. Now that I thought of it, I should mention that the Asiana West and Central Lounge were closed; only the East lounge was opened. However, I can’t be sure they will open late (at 8 am) or close due to Covid. It was reassuring to know the lounge opened at 5:30 am for an early morning layover.

I would have enjoyed a little more of the 2nd leg from ICN to HAN. I am planning a similar trip in a few months and I have never flown business class.
Thank you for the feedback. The second leg was a little boring for me so I didn't film much. I don't know if it was just me but the Wifi didn't work for me so I can't stream any movie. I took a long nap after my meal. Enjoy your first business class experience!

I swore I wouldn't be that guy. I flew business 2 years ago when I caught a covid price of business class r/t of $1800 to Italy. I've flown only business & 1st class since 😂😂
Haha, anyone scored great business class deals have bragging rights 😂 !! I wish business class price could cool down a bit, but I can’t blame airlines for wanting to make up for the money they lost during Covid

I’m going to Hanoi in December. Flying Asiana Airlines from Lax . Connecting in ICN to Hanoi. Flying Asiana Airlines again. Will my luggage tag to the final destination or do I have to recheck my luggage again in ICN. My layover is 1h 50 minutes will that be enough. I’m kinda nervous. Please help .
If you bought the ticket from lax to Hanoi then you will check your bag in LAX and get your bag in Hanoi. No need to grab you bag during layover. 1 hr and 50 min should be enough if your flight is on time. You don’t do through customs in Korea so it won’t take long.
Are those seats from Seoul to Ha Noi Premium Economy or Business class? I notice the seats are different than the ones from LA
They are more like the regional business class, as the configuration is 2-2. They are big wide seats, very comfortable, angle flat seats.
Did you fly from LAX to ICN on the A380 or the A350?

No offense just personal opinion, but bibimbap in biz and economy always looks the same therefore making it looks gorgeous as economy meal but cheapo as biz menu
None taken. Compare to other business class flight I have been on where i could pick my meal ahead of time via an extended menu, this isn’t the best. Plus, it’s missing the fried egg 😂
ANA is clearly better business class from JFK to SGN.Better seat,better food and the price is just about the same.
Can’t comment on the pricing cause it changes based on when you buy and the season. If I booked further out I would have gotten better deal for sure. This one was the cheapest I could find when I looked 😕. It was also during the first summer “post Covid” restrictions so the price sky rocketed.

It doesn't look like business class seat from ICN--HAN. It looks more like Premium economy seat. $2300 one way is a reasonable price for business class but the seat you had from ICN-HAN doesn't worth the money you paid.
I agreed, but sadly they don't fly the larger plane for the flight to Hanoi. Mainly the true business experience is from LAX to ICN and the lounge access. The service was more tentative than the larger plane, and food was delicious though. They called it the "Regional Business" class. :)
There are no premium economy seats on any airline in the world that can match the regional business from ICN to HAN. What is "worth the money you paid for" depends on one's budget for comfort level and when you bought the ticket. If you cannot pay it yourself do not knock others who can afford it. It's just jealousy.
$2000 for the long haul flight & $300 for the shorter flight. Sounds like a good deal to me.

@@tubby_1278 hi Tou, I wish I had the ultimate answer here but I don’t. For me, I planned ahead of time, look up the price about 2 months out, and use Google flight to find the deal by not picking a destination or time of travel, Google will show me the best deal for all the destinations. I think being flexible is key. I also use my credit card point to its best advantage. I redeemed 100k miles for a $3000 business class flight with Singapore Air recently, those points are equated to $1000 of gift card so it’s better spent to redeem flights. Hope it helps!
