I am very unhappy and angry at myself for every starting this bleaching journey. I get so many compliments on my skin now but honestly I wish to get back to my natural dark skin tone. I'm finding it very difficult to completely stop 😫 but I know deep down in my heart that I'll.

Hiya, thanks for your comment, my apologies. I have a video on some products I use in my nighttime routine. I’ll aim to do a new video to share my current skin care products. X
I am shocked! I wouldn’t have known. You don’t have the dark knuckles. I guess you didn’t used the very harsh cream. I am happy you stopped. It’s not worth the skin damage as they are irreversible. Glad you decided to talk about this. Being beautiful has nothing to do with skin colour, but one’s features. Not all light women and men are nice looking. @Annsukh I have stopped using such creams 🥰. I now use healthy variants from Nivea brand. Currently using the Nivea cocoa moisturizer, due to the harmattan season here in Nigeria.
It would have been nice to see pics before(when you were using bleaching products) and to see your natural face now ... also it would have been nice of you to share what products you used while trying to get back to your natural color
I'm 17 years old and I started lightening my skin at 15 for a few months until I stopped. I started out wanting to even out my skin tone by getting rid of hyperpigmentation on my face, armpits and inner thighs. As I continued I started lightening my entire body because I wanted to be a nice glowy and plump brown ( I didn't understand that I was just dull and wasn't nourishing my skin and body). I wish there was someone there for me who could've stopped me before it was irreversible. I feel ashamed for what I had done to myself and it doesn't help that I get bullied for it at school. Although I feel like I deserve it, I'm human, a young one at that. I haven't used bleaching products, I used natural ingredients, but I used them harshly and consistently. I'd bath 2-3 times a day and exfoliate my entire body. I was completely obsessed and hadn't realised what I had done until it was too late. It got to a point where there was no moisture in my body and I was dried out like a prune. I've been working on rejuvenation my skin since then and it has gotten better, my skin barrier is not as sensitive. But my skin tone hasn't reverted. It's still hard to come to terms with the fact that this is how light I'm going to be for the rest of my life, I can't even look back at old pictures of myself as a kid because all I can look at is my dark skin and how I took it for granted
I'm sorry I can relate it...I bleached my skin coz I was trying to get rid of eczema ..but now I'm using petroleum jelly, It seems like it's working .making my skintone looks the same
You don't deserve to be made fun of for something you did to yourself. Get some palm kernel oil and apply it overnight with hyaluronic acid. Don't use harsh cleansers on your skin, and get some sunscreen if you don't already have some. Please don't be so hard On yourself, think of this as a lesson in self love,I know exactly what you're going through but you have to learn to live with the mistakes you made. I'm here to answer any questions. Take care.
Great topic, thanks for opening up about this topic. Although I have never used these products, this subject comes up a lot in our people and many are affected by it whether dark or lighter. We are fearfully and wonderfully made. God bless you

Hey hun, don’t listen to what people say, people will always have something to say even if it’s not productive, they just love talking. You know you’re not bleaching your skin and if they don’t believe you, that’s their problem. You are looking after yourself and they don’t like that taking care of yourself is enhancing your beautify even more. Some people can’t stand it when you’re self developing, they’d like to see you not taking care of yourself so that they can say they look better than you. Honestly hun, If you are not bleaching, don’t mind them and continue to improve on your self and glow, it’s self love ❤️
some of the ingredients ARE banned or too dangerous to be sold publicly but pretty sure the market is just too profitable, the masses who are interested keep funding it..
Sylvia Kyalo glad this can help! I know the struggles! But like I said in the video, it’s all about your mindset! Natural complexion is truly the best!!
Been bleach free for almost two months now and I’m loving it! , the first few weeks were just horrible I looked terrible 😢 but now my skin is getting better! Im only using Vaseline petroleum jelly nothing else next month im going to start using a lotion maybe Johnson’s and Johnson’s
Thanks to all the love and support concerning this video! It sure took a lot of courage to film this video! However I’m so glad I did! I sure hope this will help those who are sadly depressed as a result of their complexion! Remember we are all beautiful! X
Atlene Lewis hiya, I’m not sure in what terms you mean. I think there are side effects mentally, throughout the time using. But after no, I am so empowered. My skin on my face is on the sensitive side, which I feel could have been as result of using those creams. But other than that my skin is perfectly fine! As long as you look after you from the inside and out, you skin will love you! X
Thank you so much for replying, its encouraging. I am trying to stop using bleaching cream but because of the long time use, my skin is damaged. I've developed a layer of rash on my face and almost a shrinkage to my skin. I was curious if you experienced anything similar.
Atlene Lewis wow! What are you currently using on your skin? You can DM on Instagram. Or even here, I’m not yet sure how it works! My Instagram is itsmoyoi. X
My problem now...I completely regret touching my skin. Now i have white spots all over my skin...black tags round my neck...atimes i get depressed looking at myself in the mirror.#saynotobleachingcreams
Alicia Lewis thanks so much sis! This took so much courage! I still can’t believe I have released such s video! I think that’s why it has even taken me so long to reply to my messages! Thanks so much for the encouragement sis! X
I started bleaching back in 8th grade because i thought being dark made me ugly.. I was applying petroleum jelly and had breakouts on my face so a friend introduced me to epiderm cream,I tried it and the pimples webt away but my face became very light.. so i decided to make my whole body lighter, but after i became a born again i started feeling fake because i was not accepting how I was created😔😔.. I was thinking of stopping once my cream finishes but i think i need to drop it now.. I actually feel i can be more beautiful with my real skin, may God help me in this journey.. I'm ready for the backlash and gossip🙏
Hi dont be afraid to stop i bleached my skin thinking it would help clear my acne scars all it did was break my skin out more made more pimples for me to burst. When i stoped my face was darker then it was before i started bleaching. I have been useing tumeric soap and mask for four months now and my skin is basically back to its normal color and i have no breakouts at all
@@elrayahrolle3852 thank you.. I have stopped bleaching and amazingly my skin is getting dark quite quickly and I'm so excited!I hope my skin will be able to be thick, healthy and bouncy once more.. I'm ready to get dark and feel naturally beautiful again❤
@@maryaanzed, yes, you can regain your skin texture, moisturizer goes along way and with patience, you ll be fine. I’ve been on the journey of original skin color reversal and is going well
I have a natural light brown skin color and I am satisfied with my skin color. I don't want to be white, I like my skin color and my skin color is beautiful. In the summer a lot of white people going to the beach in the sun to get dark skin. I like dark skin ladies they are beautiful.
kissiz baby awwww thank you! I know it’s sad that certain pressure and influencers can make you blind to the truth! I’m glad I do see that clearly now! Thanks you so much. X
I have decided to stop skin bleach and am now using coconut oil,it's not easy since my skin is not healthy and I have become more darker than I was before using bleaching products, somebody help me to get my skin healthy plzz!
Husna Jumanne I’m happy to hear that you have stopped using bleaching creams, they will only gradually destroy your skin. You may feel you have gone darker, only because you were used to seeing a fairer complexion. Embrace your dark skin, it’s beautiful than you can see right now. It’s your mind playing games, just to get you to go back to what is bad for you. Depending on your skin type, use natural products for it. Check out my video on my nighttime routine, I use some products that may be of interest to you! All the best, remember you are beautiful just the way you were made. X
WELL COCONUT OIL MAKES SKIn DARKER IF YOU GO OUT IN THE SUN.rather use the oil at night so that u can fully enjoy only its benefits.. and also use natural facials like honey ,mik, tomatoes and ovacado they will restore your skin glow and natural completion. .
Angel Denning I was there once! But let me remind you! You are beautiful as you are! Please learn to love your natural colour! Have you seen ‘Skin’ by Beverly Naya on Netflix? Please check it out! It’ll help you! ❤️
Great story dear, well done 👌🏽 you are gorge just how you are 😍 Tbh never got this dark skinned, light skinned malarkey. We are all beautiful! It’s all about being comfortable in your own skin.
Natalie Holder thanks so much my beautiful sis! I totally agree! However the truth is it’s an issue and starts from our surrounding! We must teach our boys to appreciate all shades of beauty and we must tell our girls they are beautiful no matter the shade! X
Moyo Iyiola oh absolutely and I hear you, definitely got a lot to do with one’s surroundings. Glad you stopped though, you look great. Some chics still on the bleaching thing need a wake up call - it doesn’t look good lol. Let’s ensure we educate our kids/ the younger generation to love themselves just the way they are. Bless x
Natalie Holder spot on hun!! Thank you so much for your support! Really appreciate! Hopefully this video will have a positive impact on those still on the skin bleaching buzz! X
Make Your Day Sparkle - EmpressAluko awww thanks so much sis! Amen! Yh I must admit, it took a lot of courage for me to do this video! I sure know that with God you can do anything! He sure gave me the boldness! X
Great video.God bless you sis infinitely sis.U've got an awesome skin!I just subsribed!Pls I truly need an advice from you.I was introduced by an aunt into skin bleaching at 18.Before then I am naturally light brown skin colour.Over the years I used so many harsh creams.. with steroids, hydroquinone, these creams made my face glow in an amazing way...spotless face, uniformed colour, no blemishes.I got constant compliments anywhere I went. But deep within me I wasn't happy.Because being someone very careful about health issues...I knew these bleaching agents weren't good for the skin. But I feared stopping.Because I dreaded the side effects of stopping. Finally I stopped. For like two years now.Luckily I dint get horrible side effects, but the only issue I have that saddens me is the colour of my face skin...While my neck & whole body is too fair....like yellow, my face looks 5 shades darker .Strangely enough, those times I I used the bleaching products, I applied them mostly on my face & used more normal non bleaching moisturizing creams for my body.A friend advised me to try exposing my neck, chest, body to the sun so it darkens & blends with my face..I tried it but my body refuses to darken.Pls I need an advice from you...What natural way can I use to brighten up my face so it blends a bit with the rest of my body? If I were 2 shades darker, I won't mind...but 5 shades difference is too much..A friend sent me this cream called Dr Organic light & bright...made in UK..I don't know if it's ok to use it & stop once my face colour blends? or if ori / shea butter can even out my face skin? Or better pls do tell me best thing to do.Sorry for my long mail..Pls sis do reply me when you can.God bless you & have a great day
Hey apply sunscreen on your face all the time. The reason it got darker is because the creams made your face more sensitive than your other parts, the rays penetrate more through your face. So apply sunscreen then at night get a night toner and glycolic face wash. ...sun or not, apply sunscreen
Is the fair and white almond oil a lightening or bleaching oil? I've been using it for a bit now because it has similar properties to vitamin e. My skin is natural because I don't use any lightening products on it and I don't want to damage it. So do you think it alters skin tone or is it just okay?
Hi thanks for sharing this, pls I just stopped using bleaching cream and I am using jergens ultra healing, pls what else can I use to go back to my brown colour....thanks
Taiwo Omotunde well done for stopping hun! You made a good decision! So that cream is good! I’ve never used it, but I know It’s a good brand and great for optimising ones natural complexion! As long as you are not using any bleaching products, your natural skin colour will come back! It’s difficult to recommend as you have to consider skin type and stuff like that! Keep using what your using and just go for products that are natural! I will do a skin care routine video soon! Shea butter and aloe Vera is great for treating sunburn!
What made me not consider skin bleaching.... i am dark skin, color of coffee beans.... are genetics and hair texture. 1. Genetics. Yes, i will be light but my children, if i marry a darkskin/brown skin guy my children will come out dark. How will i tell my daughter she is beautiful when i myself is trying to eradicate that same factor. Point is bleaching doesnt change dna. -i live in a very hot country. If i bleach, i will damage my melanin cells and wont be able to visit and bask in the sunny beaches, or walk around freely during hot seasons. - dark skin ages well, like fine wine. The melanin we have reduces wrinkle formation and slows down cell death compared to lighter shades. 2. Hair texture. It made no sense to change a skin color that is commonly paired with 4c hair. I know not all darkskin have type 4 hair, but these are just a small percentage. Bantus, and Nilotes majorly possess 4c hair and dark skin, and i am bantu-nilot mix with these features. So why erase that part? There is this notion that if you are light skin your hair has to to type 3 to maybe 4a. How will you know you wont just stop at skin lightening? How will you know you won't go further to hide the 4c hair under curly/ straight wigs. Or flat iron ot or heat train it. Your story has encouraged me to even stick to loving my skin even more. It gives me the assurance i made the ryt choice. We need more people like you sharing their story so that many others xan be encouraged to stop bleaching or not think of doing it
Yeah how do I get back the normal dark color we were.... Scared.. I'm darker then I ever been in my life.. I miss me.. I never want to use this stuff again.. I only wanted even clear skin.. n 2 shades lighter naturally.. n used pure Egyptian gold... I stopped completely n now this is a hot mess. My face is darker then my body... How do we repair the eperdermis.. and fix the inner layers of skin.. please can u tell me what u did.. will it ever go away
What natural products did you use. Did you get stretch marks from the bleaching Were you able to remove the stretch marks If you did what did you use to remove them
@Gods Klanof u know I shit about me uncle ,judge not says the word of God ..it kills faster than any virus and disease .never let your heart be corrupted about another human being .thanks and remain blessed
How long does it take for your skin to go back to it's original colour? I'm not a bleacher, I was using kojic acid soap to try to lighten dark spots on my chin from cutting myself while shaving, and the soap has made my chin lighter than I anticipated
Marlene K yes others said, the stoping process, is literally to stop! Get rid of all the products and use any skin care products that is not lightening! It’s a difficult transition, however the key is to love you for you! After like a month, you’d have your natural complexion return! ❤️
Please ma I also bleached my skin but am really tired now and am using palm kernel oil on my face can I use Vaseline lotion on my body ma and dove body wash ma please help me 😢😢

Which cream did u use that didn’t make you darker after you stopped? And for how long did you use it? I’m doing the same thing searching google and UA-cam up and down trying to find a solution to stop bleaching without darkening more then when I started. I feel like it’s too late for me cuz I’ve been using them since high school and it’s been 5 yrs now when I try to stop now I notice that certain areas of my body start getting really dark and the sides of my face changed to a light green color it makes me feel really insecure I’m so mad at myself for ever starting in the first place cuz it honestly wasn’t worth it. But what’s done is done I’m just hoping to find a solution do you have any advice on what I should do to stop this, which creams or soaps I should use?
Isabelle Faye I have my routine of what I use on my nighttime routine video. It doesn’t matter what cream you use, as long as it’s not a lightening or bleaching cream. It’s all in you head in terms of how dark you go. Until you embrace dark skin and see it beautiful, you will easily transition to your natural colour with confidence! You will go back to your natural colour once you stop using the cream. You won’t go darker than your original colour, all that fear is a conspiracy to prevent people from stopping this bleaching nonsense! My advice is love being black and beautiful and you’d be less conscious of the change. All the best! X

Kayla C. I used lightening products for about 10 years! I went about 3 shades lighter than my original complexion. My main damage was acne prone skin to my face. I now just use natural products like mentioned on one of my videos (nighttime routine one) that has repaired my skin! X
Pieces of Beautiful Awww thank you! I personally did not encounter knuckle issues. I was very cautious on how my hands appeared. The moment I noticed my hands having that bleached look, I’d reduce how often I’d use the cream in a week for example. I did not get so light so the products were not so harsh in the sense to cause irreversible damage. I thank God, as I did not intend to go light skinned, I was more interested in having a smooth and one shade complexion. By not using such products again, my skin has totally returned to normal. Thanks for the compliment and comment! X
Alexis Norris I recall it taking a few weeks, maximum a month. Bearing in mind I did not drastically transform my complexion. I went a few shades lighter
I mean your pretty dark. Maybe it did not work. Must to be darker than this. I struggle with having dark skin. I do not like it. I do not think that ugly or dirty. I just do not think because how people treat you in America. I mean racism and colorism make feel bad. I have considered bleaching because of it. Dark skin is beautiful. I just dont feel like it.
Najah Lawal please don’t let people make you feel bad of your natural beautiful complexion! I know it’s easier said than done, but that was the purpose of my video! Bleaching your skin is not worth it! Check out other dark skin people who are equally beautiful, that will help inspire you! It all in the mind! Once you get that aspect sorted, you’d feel better and proud of how God made you! He made us all perfect! Dark skin is beautiful and I am so proud to be dark skin, like I said, I wouldn’t have minded being darker! ❤️

Take care.
I want to be darker! Shout out to all you beautiful dark skin girls! I’m jealous 😍
Great topic, thanks for opening up about this topic. Although I have never used these products, this subject comes up a lot in our people and many are affected by it whether dark or lighter. We are fearfully and wonderfully made. God bless you

hi dear I hope u reply, I got insecure because my friends used to laugh at me because my face and neck were dark skined like charcoal dark and my body was golden brown like an half cast I got sun tarn for about 9 yrs and the dead cells accumulated in My skin, I found a lotion not a cream but a lotion that helped me out and I apply t once a week or none at all I would just use coconut oil and now I have not used t for 2 months and I'm still lighter than how I was 9years ago in 20 yrs but suffered severe sun tarn my friends that knew about the sun tarn and my mom and Dad and my nany that raised me are okay with me because they know it was my original skin but the people that weren't close to me or didnt know of my sun tarn r making me insecure ,. I'm a Christian and I tell God everyday that I know u know I don't bleach my skin I evened t out and asked healing from him and a peace of mind that I ddnt bleach,. please help me. dear.
They need to ban whitening creams!!!!!!!
some of the ingredients ARE banned or too dangerous to be sold publicly but pretty sure the market is just too profitable, the masses who are interested keep funding it..
Me too been looking for a video to motivate me. Thanks
Sylvia Kyalo glad this can help! I know the struggles! But like I said in the video, it’s all about your mindset! Natural complexion is truly the best!!

@@carolinekiseu9339 hi Caroline 2years later I'm seeing your comment are you still here?
Been bleach free for almost two months now and I’m loving it! , the first few weeks were just horrible I looked terrible 😢 but now my skin is getting better! Im only using Vaseline petroleum jelly nothing else next month im going to start using a lotion maybe Johnson’s and Johnson’s
Thanks to all the love and support concerning this video! It sure took a lot of courage to film this video! However I’m so glad I did! I sure hope this will help those who are sadly depressed as a result of their complexion! Remember we are all beautiful! X
Did you have any side affects when you stopped?
Hi please how did you deal with the rash?

It will go back with Time please be patient..

Hi
How long did it take for you to overcome the rash and to reach your own skin color
The darker the berry the sweeter the juice!! You can't get a creme but there is Melanotan 2 and some tanning booth visits.
God bless you!
Thank u very much pls which cream are u using now for ur face and body
may GOD bless you for this video....inspirational
Wow, thank you
Pls ma..av used Caro white and it makes my face so unrhymed..It also gave me dark circles around my eyes..wat cream can I use to rhyme it
Great video.God bless you sis infinitely sis.U've got an awesome skin!I just subsribed!Pls I truly need an advice from you.I was introduced by an aunt into skin bleaching at 18.Before then I am naturally light brown skin colour.Over the years I used so many harsh creams.. with steroids, hydroquinone, these creams made my face glow in an amazing way...spotless face, uniformed colour, no blemishes.I got constant compliments anywhere I went.
Now this is a surprise!
Don Jazzy lol, thanks!
You're so beautiful sis 😊
Bless you❤️
What can I do to get back my color?
@@officiallymo_space thanks ,you are blessed will do just that......will be waiting for your skin care video.....

How long does it take for your skin to go back to it's original colour? I'm not a bleacher, I was using kojic acid soap to try to lighten dark spots on my chin from cutting myself while shaving, and the soap has made my chin lighter than I anticipated
Depending on how long u having using that product
Girl you are so beautiful ❤️🥰❤️
girl thank you
I need help quiting skin bleaching
embrace your individuality, pray and JUST worry about skin health and not skin colour!
Can you walk me through the stoping process like what lotion or body soap to use because I have a friend that want to stop
Tell your friend to start by throwing away all her lightening lotion and soap. She can use dettol soap, vitamin e oil, Shea butter or Vaseline.
Xxxx First Vaseline darkened her body
Marlene K yes others said, the stoping process, is literally to stop! Get rid of all the products and use any skin care products that is not lightening! It’s a difficult transition, however the key is to love you for you! After like a month, you’d have your natural complexion return! ❤️
Thank you!

thanks

... dark dkin doesn't also mean beautiful either..
None is better than the other, they are just sister shades of brown.all shades of brown are beautiful.
What is & should be more beautiful is the inner person.
Hi Sis, how long did you use it ? And what have you done to repair
Kayla C. I used lightening products for about 10 years! I went about 3 shades lighter than my original complexion. My main damage was acne prone skin to my face. I now just use natural products like mentioned on one of my videos (nighttime routine one) that has repaired my skin! X
Wow, would’ve never guessed. You look stunning Sis. Thanks so much for sharing. God Bless.
M stopping right now😣
How long did it take to reverse your skin back to normal ?
Alexis Norris I recall it taking a few weeks, maximum a month. Bearing in mind I did not drastically transform my complexion. I went a few shades lighter
Go tan
