Great review. I've used the E2 S6 for nearly 3 years now and love it. Your thoughts are on point both pros and cons. One thing to note regarding external raw is that they released a firmware update allowing Black Magic Raw with the BM assist 12g. So even though you're in Davinchi you could get a raw workflow running with the zcams
Thanks. I forgot to mention the BM Video Assist mostly because I own a Atomos Ninja V I would rather own the BM. Honestly I don't like external RAW recording it just adds more onto you and adds more expense. Thanks for the comment, please subscribe it really helps the channel out and there are more great things here.
There is a plugin for adobe premiere that allows you to load z raw clips directly to premiere and adjust many settings. z raw is not ideal but can be worked on premiere without problems. I have 2 z cams and love them. I mostly record in pro res raw directly to my atomos ninja recorders. great combo.
@@CoreCreativeMedia cool thanks for your help !!! is it z-cam that provide de software? Do you know the name or is it a plug in maybe ? I can’t find much online about it
I convert pro res raw from my ninjas to CDNG using Play Pro and the results are amazing. It is one more step but the results are well worth the extra time. Especially for film work.
I hope to get my hands on the Kinefinity and try it out soon. I always ask tho is it worth $10k when I can just buy a $5k Ursa Mini Pro which does the same?
@Core Creative Media If you okay working with BRAW or using DaVinci Resolve - that is a good choice. BM does not record ProRes 12bit 4444QX, that's a better universal format for any editing program.
Great review! I’ve had the f6 for several years now and agree it’s an amazing camera! It’s even been used in several major Hollywood productions!

Waw can you work with zraw like actual raw ? You can change iso ,white balance , exposure ?????
I believe you can with ZCam raw software where you can color grade and then export codec for your NLE.

Here you can find the adobe plug-in for ZRaw and also their own software for grading and exporting.

I would be interested in know more about that.
@@strademarkworld only m4 what about s6 ? Is it the Russian young guy crack you talk about ?
I have not heard much about this camera, Thanks for the viewpoint. I still do my conference calls on a pair of zcam e1's.
It's a really cool camera!
Also, Kinefinity makes nice cameras with RAW and Prores 4444XQ on board.

I prefer to work in Resolve and Braw anyway. The BM Ursa Mini Pro 4.6k does shoot Apple ProRes 4444XQ but the 12K does not.
