    Randi, this is just one of the many things RVers have to do, unless they head south for the winter. You did a good job of explaining the process.

    I’m so disappointed. I just got my 2016 320 S camper a few months ago and had made reservations to go camping May 25 and now Michigan has shut down till at least July. I would like to go to Colorado and Washington state to see my kids and grandkids but not even sure if I can do that because I don’t know what will be open and won’t won’t. The only thing I’ve been wondering is if I could just take my chances and go and stay in Walmart parking lot and Cracker Barrel parking lots till I get to my kids homes. This whole quarantine has got me frustrated. I enjoy your tips And watch all your videos and find them very helpful. I’m taking my camper Monday to a friend who has a business around the corner and he will do you winterize it and go through things with me.

      Hi MaryAnn! I can understand how frustrating this must be as a new camper owner. These are crazy times but hang in there... things are slowly getting better. MN is opening State Parks on May 4th and I have heard other states are opening soon also.

    Hi Randi, love your videos. Thank you.
    I have a Q? When you de-winterized. Do you drain first the liquid put into for winter and then finish draining all with the water you put in the beginning in the tank. Please let me know. Thanks

    • @RandisAdventures
      @RandisAdventures  12 днів тому

      Hi! Always drain all of the water out and then add the anti- freeze. I hope this answers your question!

    For our little camper I use the blow out method via an air compressor. It's simple and don't need to fuss with anti-freeze.

  • @deannewalding1074

    I plan on doing that this weekend. With the small amount of antifreeze used, I will flush it down the toilet. Antifreeze is usually toxic to dogs. Have you thought about doing a video about how to glamp up your camp site? I think that would be fun.

    • @RandisAdventures
      @RandisAdventures  4 роки тому

    Hey all - Please be aware that if you have a new Little Guy and are hooked up to shore power, not LP, getting your initial hot water will take 30+ minutes. So, be patient.

    Hey Randi!!! Great video!!!
    I'm so glad you said don't put it on the ground. I'm not a wacky environmentalist, you might think that I am because I live in California, but again don't hold that against me, but I am definitely afraid of antifreeze. When I was a youngster my family had a dog that got into some antifreeze. It crystalized in her blood and digestive tract. It was horrible to watch her die. Ever since I have always been on a kick to dispose of antifreeze, even the RV type, safely and properly. Animals will go after it like candy. So don't put it on the ground. Always put it into a proper dump tank.
    I'm more afraid of dumping the antifreeze on the ground than I am the black waste. Go figure that one out... Anyway, great how to video for your awesome little trailer.
    Pat
