Why not look at some rock tamers on the back of the Jeep as it looks like the frame of the camper is getting chipped with rocks or stuff off the road.
Maybe also try a paint coating like Raptor or whatever so that it won't chip off as easily.
Here in Australia people often do huge distances on dirt/gravel roads or live in their vans year round so they have to protect them.
Smashing the back windows of a tow vehicle is pretty common if you don't have some protection from rocks here. They bounce off the van and go straight back through the window.

Little Guy is based down the road from my house. They make every high quality campers but if you are going off roading - Patriot Camper is probably your jam. You can't expect to pay a little guy price and Overland. $100,000 is worth it for the off road suspension.

I may have a possible solution for your #1 complaint. Last year I applied bug repellent on the edges of the all the blinds. Permethrin is used on clothing and is easy to spray where you want it. While we really didn’t encounter any heavy bugs situations it seems to have done the trick. But I don’t feel like we have really tested it fully yet. It may be worth a try.

Lo-lites summary: 1. Countertop and table top pealing problem. 2. Mosquito netting on windows don't seal on edges. 3. Drawers don't have secure closers. 4. The open bins lets your stuff fall out. -- I would like to hear about your a solution to the last one (was promised in video, but not delivered.

You mean the top shelves without door covers/netting?
For me I just put lightweight stuff like towels and toilet paper or clothing and cram it together so it doesn't fall out.
If you store heavy stuff above your head there's always a chance it could fall and break or worse land on your foot... Just don't put anything heavy up there. Put it down somewhere instead where you won't trip over it and that should work just fine 👍

We love our 22 LGM, we have never used the outside TV mount. The awning is way too small, but I certainly understand why it was designed that way. I would love to remove it and replace with a Keeter rail and add an outside room like we did with our tab 320. Maybe extreme outdoors could add that product, I would certainly buy it. In a heartbeat. Love your videos.

I’ve owned the Little Guy Max for almost a year and have taken seven short trips. It’s perfect for myself and three small dogs. Your videos have been very helpful, especially on winterizing and dewinterizing; thank you! I have had no major problems. The original shower head leaked, so I replaced it. Have never used the TV or radio. The toilet paper cover is useless. Storage, windows, and sturdiness of cabinetry were major considerations when I chose this model. The cabinet doors and drawers fly open when traveling; I use tension rods to help, and just installed some magnetic childproof locks. The LGM is my happy place, looking forward to more adventures!

I had this same trailer and there were many things we liked about it. Our biggest complaint concerned the extremely small tanks for fresh, grey and black water. I agree that we were very disappointed in the cheap laminate used on the kitchen counter and table. Lastly, the window blinds were very low quality and were always a nuisance.

I would love it if you would do a video just on that one thing. Show me just how easy it is to use and tell me how secure the TV is inside going down the road or do you have to take it down every time you move? Enquiring minds want to know.

I have the mini max and I love her. She is perfect for me and my dog taz. At 17 feet I always get a site. I have not gone winter camping yet but my trailer too has that rust that I try to address yearly. I have two complaints; one is with the trailer lot that sold me a too small of a battery (75ah) the other is that trailer frame bolts were not torqued properly causing it to feel like I was towing a trailer with square wheels. Even though I returned to the lot with my concern, they figured it was my tow vehicle, then my lack of experience and then the recall finally came down problem solved. But that mini is getting miles put on her

I was called names by relatives nearby but I used the stimulus to get a 300ah LiFeP04 battery & parts/panels for emergency solar for a tiny air conditioner and power stations for a freezer, small fridge, rice cookers etc. Hurricanes and severe storms are a serious problem in Louisiana. I live in a camper between hills so I have wind protection but long power outages are terrible with the heat here.

Xtreme Outdoors is not currently producing any Little Guy campers. The prolonged downturn in RV demand coupled with the loss of a key vendor has forced us to put production on pause and downsize our overall operations and staff substantially. If you ever get new windows or have the scratches removed, cut a thin sheet of plexi glass to the size of each window and stick it to the glass with Clear Silicone. If that gets scratched, peel it off and apply a new one. That's basically the same idea as a Screen Protector on a Cell Phone.

Watching your video about small campers. Now first let me tell you about me. I just turned 65 years young and I'm a amputee. Plus I have a screwed up back. Can't walk that my uch before I have to sit down. Also I stand at 7 foot 3 inches tall. My parents owned a newmar king air tag axel diesel pusher. Even in there I could not stand up straight. I'm used to bending down with my back injury. My parents loved showing off there rc. They hated spending a nite in a fair price hotel. But for me I'm not here to impress my friends. I'm planning on getting a R-Pod once my truck is paid for. Being on ssdi is hard. But as long as I have a queen sized bed, a microwave oven, a 2 burner stove and a sink I'm happy. The bathroom is there for removing di😅rt from your skin or from your insides. Nothing more. Plus the R-Pod comes with a/c and solar panels installed. With one propane tank and a deep cycle battery. Plus there tanks hold 30 gallons. Grey, black and fresh water. I'm happy with that. Plus a small camper fits in any parking spot. How many times did my dad pull into a RV park and the person at the gate said they were full or we don't except larger then life RVs. That pissed him off. With a small RV you can pull it with anything, park it anywhere and park it yourself. No worry's. That's why I love it. And the solar panels are a standard feature. Would love to try some boondocking. I'm here in sunny hot Florida. I guess I'm your tallest fan. Keep up the great work
