- Fara dish is very popular recipe of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Chhattisgarh. In this video i have shown how to make UP style fara recipe two ways, one is steamed one and second one is semi fried in very less oil. It is a very healthy Indian recipe. It is known by so many other names like chawal pitha recipe, fare recipe, pandubi recipe, panduba, chhattisgarhi fara recipe, dal chawal ke pithe, urad dal ka pitha, fara recipe urad dal, chana dal fara recipe, fare recipe chana dal. Steamed fara Ingredients

1 cup soaked urad dal/ black lentils
1 cup chana dal/gram lentil
1/2 tsp hing/Asafoetida
1 tbsp grated Adrak/ginger
2-3 Hari mirch/green chillies
Handful of fresh dhaniya patte/coriander leaves
Salt as per taste
Pinch of garam masala
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp dhaniya/coriander powder
1/4 tsp haldi/turmeric
1 and half cup chawal ka atta/rice flour
2-3 tbsp ghee
