Heard this while driving from St Louis to Louisville,KY. Mid 90s. My first year as an immigrant to the USofA. It has been on my playlist for every single road trip since then!
I'll never forget this one particular sunny day, all those years ago, when I laid down on the grass in Riverside Park on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, closed my eyes, listened to this song, and utterly escaped.
A friend of mine knew about the FJB back in '93. They would play gigs in downtown Chicago bars. Capacity maybe 200 people, standing 50 feet from these guys on stage!! Wonderful times, DAMN, wonderful memories!!
This was so awesome to see! I'm in this video at least 5 times! Hadn't seen them in 12 years...worth the wait! Met the guys also and I can't say enough about them! They are so down to earth and some of the nicest guys on the planet. Thanks for the great show and even a better night FJB.
I've listened to FJB since I was in the 7th grade. I'm nearly 40 now. I still love their music, but these guys need to pay attention to their vocals more. I love the guitar (emulating a bit of The Edge), but the vocals are lacking. I listen and I always have thought, come on guys lets give some more vocals. Listen to the audience in this (horrible sound) recording, the people go nuts when the guys start singing. A bit of harmony or background vocals on this classic would be awesome!

Such a great song! The combination of the slide guitar and the guitar with delay is magical sounding.

I love ‘em . Always have. What a song.
Great song. Cool band. And leaving the intro with the guy trying to throw everyone out is fantastic! Thanks for putting this up

Maryland loves FJB. Hope they're still around and might come east.

This song is awesome, but it must suck to have only one song that people come out for.
You could have no songs, and no people could come out for you.
Guitar is reminiscent of U2 and the Edge's style
...or his lack of it !
