- I finally get my revenge on architects... Hell Architect! I have never been so motivated to play a game and so happy that it existed, to think someone actually made a game where you can create a perfect hell for architects brings a tear to my eye... Thank you developers, us engineers have waited for this day for a long time!

This is an interesting spin off of Oxygen Not Included. I guess it actually just takes some visual queues, it doesn’t have any of the higher level mechanics.
(i know this is an old comment but i just had to say) of course its missing the higher level tech. 1st its a demo not the full game. 2nd it was still early in development when he made the video. not sure if it was early access or not but it wouldn't surprise me.
Probably not a good idea to let Matt know that the Architect in the game is him... It seems more than a little identical (asset wise) to Oxygen Not Included.

@@mistercrumples A got about far enough into the training to decide I DIDN'T want a career where handwriting is important enough to be a class topic. I mean, people's lives depend on doctors' writing prescriptions and whatnot, but when wad the last time you saw a doctor's writing that was legible as English and not ancient hieroglyphics!? But architects? They get to have professors teach them how to write... no wonder they turn out so soft in the head!

The best way to torture architects is to give them things that are highly functional but look crap.

The point of a hell set should be to NEVER satisfy any needs, especially no toilet relief.
I do believe the bible is quite specific on it being “damnation WITHOUT relief”...
Maybe it's the kind of toilet happenings where it's very uncomfortable overall and hurts going out, which then feeds into the other processing machines which must just smell horrible, into the drinking water which pretty much will taste atrocious.

This is a clone of Oxygen Not Included. It's so visually similar it might be considered a parody. It probably lacks most of the complexity of Oxygen Not Included, which has a design philosophy similar to Dwarf Fortress, but is perhaps more accessible. You get to manage energy and food production, water pipes, waste disposal, temperature control and more!

I'm a games software engineer, the sister course at my uni was game design. I always said the designers made stuff look good, but the software engineers made stuff work. Same thing with engineers and architects

This is a wonderful game. I had to deal with some of the dumbest pathways while at college due to architects. Architects go for beauty. Engineers go for functionality
