This is a video showing a motorized beach
wheelchair overcoming very deep and heavy
sand...made possible by additional gear reduction
using a chain and sprocket. Now it is possible to
navigate the beach without any fear of being stranded.

You may have missed the point of this video. The relationship between speed and torque are inversely proportional. By using a sprocket and chain, we cut the speed in half and doubled the torque of this wheelchair. That is what enables the chair to navigate deep and heavy sand.

снизить давление в в шине низкого давления надо, становится мягче седоку и пятно контакта больше, а с ним и проходимость

You did a great job on this electric beach wheelchair. It looks like nothing can stop it. I've been working on one for my wife (stroke survivor), who hasn't been able to enjoy the beach very much because I can't push her manual beach wheelchair too well any more (bad back). I especially like the look of your rear hubs. They look like go kart or golf cart rims. Could you tell me where you sourced them? Also, did you upgrade to larger batteries? It seemed this didn't have much battery life.

Excellent idea using the aluminum pipe. What size tires did you use in the front and rear? I am working on one myself. Nice job

Hot Shot Products is one company that builds a chair like this one but they are alot more stable and can be custom mad for specific needs.

Great machine Great job 🖒🖒Where did you get the tube ends and connectors from?

We are using 1 inch schedule 40 aluminum pipe. The "connectors" are simple pipe fitting made for one-inch schedule 40 aluminum pipe. You can find them at most pipe supply companies.,

Sand paddle tyres would work better on the rear wheels.

Several years ago I mistakenly trusted Hot Shot Products to fabricate and send me all necessary parts to convert my electric wheelchair to be beach worthy. They asked for payment up front ($2365.00), of which I carelessly did. Only to get a 9 month song and dance, and nothing sent to me in return. Living in NJ, my option to pay Hank a visit, wasn't going to happen. To this day, he will not answer the phone, nor return an emails. A word to the wise, do not do business with Hank, the owner of Hot Shot Products.

Maybe for sand have it 4 wheel drive.

What would be the advantage of four-wheel-drive,since this wheelchair is already unstoppable?

I would disagree with you regarding stability.. Not to mention the fact that the Hot Shot wheelchair is made from steel, which will eventually render it a rust bucket..
