I don't know about lack of physical strength being Sunday's weakness either, because unless it's current Sunday who's powerless anyway, you can't even challenge him to a physical fight in the first place. I think it’d be Acheron and I’m saying it as a big Sunday fan. But I also want to remind you guys of the fact that Acheron may not be as resistant to the dreams’ influence (which Sunday directly controlled) as she claims to be and it’s directly shown in 2.1 quest. When Welt and Acheron went to Sunday’s mansion to investigate, Acheron said “I’ll use my powers of nihility to make myself invisible to others” or smth of the sort. Then Sunday comes into picture and he acknowledges her head on. And it’s not just a writing mistake in my opinion because it’s Shaoji we’re taking about so it was deliberate. He and his team are known to put a lot of thought into the dialogues, npc, side quests which makes me believe that 100% was smth that the players were supposed to catch on to. Even the fact that Sunday paused before acknowledging her works from a writing stand point, to build the suspense. So yeah. Overall I think by raw strength Acheron is very strong but Sunday has some sort of resistance to her powers at least in the dream. Aside from that it’s hard to tell.

He's not on par in Acheron's level especially she nullifies the Order's authorities as shown in the climax where she destroyed Ena's Dream to help wake up everyone in Penacony. Keep in mind that base Septimus can only trap non Emanator characters in AOE and his strongest version got beaten by the Crew and Robin. There's nothing that stops Acheron from one tapping Embryo of Philosophy. Also you're wrong, Acheron is the most powerful character we've seen strengthwise as already shown by her feats alone and we've never seen her going all out and her conceptual hax is superior compared to Sunday, just goes to show how far Emanators scales compared to Pathstriders like Sunday

It took the combination of the entire Astral Express, Robin's power and MC getting the Harmony Path to stand up to Sunday's monster form. Acheron would have a hard time. Sure Acheron is the Nihility's Emanator, but considering Sunday's Ultimate involves him making contact with (I think) Ena's hand which unleashes a huge explosion, it's definitely a close one.
To be HONEST, i do think Acheron could be stronger, since the Nihility is able to cut off the Harmony brands off of Aventurine, what makes her unable to cut off Ena's power from Sunday? I mean, he's not a choosen Emanator but he is still having a power as strong as one, no?
None of them, I mean none of them are close to how powerful Acheron is. There's a very good reason why Acheron wasn't involved in the final battle. Nihility is one big F U to most paths.

He wasn't just an Emanator, but the dude was on the brink of becoming a new Aeon. He was even able to summon part of the Harmony Aeon during the fight. Acheron wouldn't have chosen to leave Penacony if she could one-shot Sunday. The only reason she was asked to leave was because her power countered the dreamscape. But other than that, I wouldn't put her above Sunday. Now, if this was a fight in reality separate from the dreamscape of the Order, Acheron would win.

Acheron didn't duel Sunday because it was the Astral Express's fight, not hers. Secondly, did you see the damage Acheron did with one slash to the Dreamscape before the final battle? She wasn't trying btw. Mei was legit trying to minimize the damage because a clash between Emanators results in a whole lot of destruction. Which is why the Express and Robin fought Sunday when his power got nerfed after Acheron severed the Dreamscape. There wouldn't be much collateral damage and the Nameless could claim Penacony back.

The dude is a walking blackhole. If he had wanted it, Sunday would've been dead after breaking free from the Dreamscape. The same applies to Acheron. The thing is, she didn't do everything alone. She had help from multiple people. If she could do it all herself, she would have definitely done so.

The Finality. Which in its description states that it brings all Aeons and paths to an end, including IX. But yes, besides Finality, Nihility is a tricky path to deal with.
Sunday scales above Acheron. It really depends on his form. When at his peak state, no one we know of, other than JingYuan can single handed solve Penacony’s crisis. People said Acheron wasn’t affected by the “dream”, but she actually was which is why she wanted to confirm that she was in one by going to the express. Acheron does not scale above Sunday. Sunday is at least star system level at his current phase. Acheron is multi-planetary.
Yeah I was about to say it’s weird to say Acheron was unaffected by the dream when we know that’s not true as the entirety of Penacony, including her, was already within 1 layer of the dream. Oth she was unaffected by the deeper layer. So she has some resistance but not complete immunity.
