    Disclaimer: Please be aware that working with hot liquid metals is very dangerous! Do not try this at home if you do not exactly know what you do. I have done a lot of preparation and informed myself before I did my first pour.
    If you do so, make sure to wear proper personal protection gear like a full face shield, a respirator, a dusk mask, fire retarding clothing or a leather apron, good protective and heat resistant gloves and leather boots. Make sure to work safe and use proper foundry tools.
    Finally enjoy the hobby!

      Dankjewel!

    Happy New Year!!! Hope you and your family had a great holiday season. Thank you for the update on your new shed. We had some tampers like that in the Army. They worked great, when they did work. Hope things dry out for you and you are able to get started building. Good luck and stay safe brother.

      Thanks mate! Yeah they are fun when working 🤣 Now it took me 3 week ends in a row to complete the job, then the ground froze solid. Hope to have a concrete foundation before end of march, I need a couple of dry weeks so the ground will be workable. I guess I picked the wrong season for this 🤣

    So what is the 2 story building back there, school? And all the garage doors, is that just storage for the area?

    • @Metalstacker
      @Metalstacker  Рік тому +1

      Cool you're asking! That 2 storie building is a 1930's telecommunication building. It used to be fully equipped to transfer calls trough the area, with the present modern techniques, only 10% of the building is in use as a big server room, if there is a black-out in that building, we do not have interner or telephone in the area. It has it's own back up generator. Next to the building is a WW2 bunker wich housed the wartime communication, nowadays a privately owned museum. I am glad that communication hub is next to my house, if it where continiously full of people, they would constantly peeking in my garden. 😁 I might do a poll at my social tab to ask if you guys are interested in a background video of my living area 😁

    • @Metalstacker
      @Metalstacker  Рік тому +1

      Oh and the garages can be bought privately, so you can store goods or a car or something. I hope to buy one in front of my shed one day 😁👊🏻

      @@Metalstacker lol yeah little different than what most of us in the States are used to, unless maybe in some of the really big cities. We're used to just having large houses, with garage attached or on own property, etc. So always interesting for sure to see what it is like elsewhere.
