So Catherine, when you first bought your beautiful house did you ever think the back garden would be a place of so much enjoyment?! Your garden is just beautiful and you have made it your own which has been lovely to see... Fireweed, I believe you call it in Ireland, Chamaenerion Angustiflium. I love them at the riverside, but not in the garden 😉 dear, it will be minus 3 here tomorrow night. Dahlia's are warmth lovers, so mine are still inside. I braid the daffodil leaves, so the bulb still gets food but it doesn't look that messy. A famous gardener taught me that, she folded them around the middle herself. The pink bush is a Deutzia, it blooms on new growth, so prune when necessary after it has blooms. You did those dovetails all by yourself! The first ever item you made, girl, well done.

I put my bulbs in tubs in the border so i can shift them around where i want them. Then when they go over i can shift them out and out of sight whilst the leaves die back.
The stool is really impressive, you did a amazing job. Can't wait to see it stained. I hope you can find another class to take, you seem to enjoy it so much.

It's been raining here steady for a week and all next week too. Luv the pretty Robins there.Ours in Ontario look different. I'm planting Cosmos seeds next week. I'll have lots this yr. Luv them for flower arrangements. Enjoy your gardening. ❤️

Hi Catherine 😊 in regards to continuing your woodworking skills,maybe check with local woodworkers, purhaps through woodworking clubs that may be willing to take you on as a helper in exchange for more skills learning. No cost to you, just your time and his or hers.😊
