Really enjoying the series so far! I recomend doing all of the senator quests. Once you unlock all 5 senators of a faction, you unlock all of their perks permanently(so you won't lose a perk when your 116-years-young adopted senator kicks the bucket). If I'm not mistaken, when you do this for all 3 factions, you get an extra bonus perk.
I've got a tip Assign all your colonists (who are not dedicated researchers) a low priority task in research and whenever you find an idle colonist just build an extra research table. Credit to Adam vs Everything, a great vanilla rimworld UA-camr and minmaxer.
I think the senators are aging at the twenty two times speed as soon as the game generates them. I do not think this is intended. Is there a setting so only colonists age at the increased rate?
