Hello dear freind , thank you for sharing your skills with us , I am a professional musical instruments maker from IRAN , and I like to learn how to play and how to make a high quality DARBUKA , with natural materials , where can i find some useful information about this topic ? And I also want to know what kind of skin should be used to get a better sound ,, nowadays I see artificila skins , and I think if we want to have a natural sound , It would better for sure that use natural skin , thanks in advanced.

    Brother,
Please be mindful when you teach mechanics. The way your teaching the main sounds is really a serious subject and it must be taught right. These mechanical movement need to be explained and demonstrated properly. If you don't do it right yourself you will end up with a permanent injury or bad wrist form and then your student will get the same bad habit. I have been teaching this since 1996 and that is the most issue people and teachers deal with, it's how to explain the mechanics and deliver correct teaching.
I appreciate your passion to teach and play and I hope you do understand the seriousness of what you're teaching.
    Best regards.
